Primarily because Igor had the best season in the history of Rangers goaltenders and because we had better bottom lines due to both the acquisitions Drury made and advancement of the kids. But keep pretending like the only thing that changed/improved was Goodrow.

I won’t pretend that there weren’t differences from last year to this year, but it was pretty evident that our current guys played better hockey under GG than Quinn. Whether gallant deserves credit for that or not is up to the eye of the beholder I suppose.
