I don't know what to say. I've doubted GG decisions before and he was often right. But I just don't understand this one...If they win with Reaves, Hunt, and Rooney having an impact then of course I'll suck GGs dick.
You know what's funny? If we lost to Pitt nobody would be complaining about Gallant. This move officially takes me off the Gallant bandwagon.
Fire him. And Drury.
Because it’s such a simple move that may actually force Drury to consider passing.Lol why would anyone offersheet him
Did I say you could borrow my cat for your photo shoot?I’m with you buddy. I started an hour ago & rapidly approaching comfortably numb status.

And bring on the next Sather-Dolan hire! This move officially takes me off the Gallant bandwagon.

Offering Kakko ~4.2M and only needing to give up a 2nd, that's a risk I would take if I was a team w/ cap space.Because he's 21 years old and already a very good defensive player and it probably won't cost that much to take a shot on him?
He's coached worse and worse as the playoffs have gone on.You know what's funny? If we lost to Pitt nobody would be complaining about Gallant.

He will be quietly shopped this summer
1So how many shifts before Laf gets demoted again? 2-3?
No, I specifically would have wanted him gone if we lost that series. He extended his leash because he not only won, but beat Carolina, too.You know what's funny? If we lost to Pitt nobody would be complaining about Gallant.
I don't love taking Kakko out but I find it hard to believe him being in the lineup makes a substantial difference in our chances of winning.
I'm a fan of his, but I can't disagree. He's coached worse and worse as the playoffs have gone on.
I thought Drury did a pretty good job tbh.You dont fire Drury. He isnt making the lineup decisions.
Fire Gallant. Get Cassidy. Trade Panara for Pasta
Could be the point maybe? Who knows. It’s an odd move win or lose.I’ll save the message-sending for next year. Kakko will spend the entire summer thinking about this move.
Who do you think would be a good coach for this team now? Just curious, not being a wise guy.If you think GG is a great coach because he's better than Quinn than I don't know what to tell you. Personally, my barometer for a good coach is not David Quinn.
The most important game of the year and the coach doesn't know what to do so he's breaking up our best line and leaving together our worst. Makes sense.
