Lost two straight and facing elimination let’s see what desperation moves Laviolette will make. He’s a list of such moves because I wouldn’t see them in any other scenario:

1. Bring in Jones. No one is dropping at LD so I guess part 2 of this move is going 11/7

2. Put Lafreniere on PP1

3. Split Kreider and Zibanejad (even more radical swap Kreider and Panarin) maybe there’s a matchup vs FL that could be exploited.

His save percentage is low because we get very few chances but the ones we get are very good. Throwing more pucks doesn't mean more shots go in. We don't generate enough quality at even strength.

As long as it’s Trouba just used in PK situations, that’s just fine.

The amount of times Lindgren gets hurt or if we go a goal down than Lindgren and Trouba spend less time getting hemmed in. 7th D could get more minutes than Rempe has been getting.
