One team sends bodies to the net and shoots and one team decides not to do that. That’s really the only difference between these teams.

Thanks for the constant negativity. Your one of those fans that’s only happy when he’s bitching about the team. Reminds of a certain poster who was pretty regular here most days before the playoffs started
That's such a stupid take. I am far from it. I argued with the poster you are alluding to and many others that you had to stop criticizing this team and that they had earned the benefit of the doubt and would make a run.

I'm negative bc I said game 4 was a must win if they wanted to win this series and people shit all over that take? I was negative for being realistic? Give me a break.

Nobody saw that one coming. Thanks again Trouba.
You could see Tampa started taking over the series once they tied it in game 3. They got used to the Rangers’ tendencies and adjusted while the Rangers never adjusted as the series went on.

Panarin has been pretty invisible 5 on 5, and that's unacceptable for a guy commanding 11.6 M AAV. That's a superstar salary right there, and he's been one of those guys that quietly racks up points on the power play, but when the refs put away the whistles like they did tonight, he is no where to be found.

I don’t agree. tb was gonna come back regardless. I’d rather lose the series after being up 2-0 than being up 3-0
Ha you think TB would've won 4 straight and come back? I don't think that would've been the case but who knows. Bottom line is nothing in this team has been the same since the third period of game 3 happened.

igor has continuously covered up GG's warts. Other coaches have matchups they look for to shut us down. We put the 4th line on ozone draws off timeouts. He's a damn fool and some of you defend him. It's pathetic.

I wouldn’t say he’s a fool but he’s not the Ace that some have made him out to be.

Neither is our roster.

It’s a shit 5v5 team that went really far with Vezina goaltending and a hot power play.

Can’t just spend the next 5 years chasing Cup runs on that premise. You can’t keep saying “Well we have to go for it because we have Igor.”

No, this doesn’t work. We have f***ing seen it before again and again.

This team needs to be transformed into a 5v5 powerhouse too, and the roster might need tweaking to get there. I don’t want to hear that the roster is set, because it’s not.

And while this isn’t necessarily Panarin, Kreider, Zibanejad, or Trouba’s fault, you also can’t shake up the roster without considering something unorthodox.

Strome cares more than 90% of the guys out there. He’s just terrible at the things that you need to do to succeed in the playoffs. I’ll never question his heart though. He clearly cares more than some of the highest paid players we have. Kreider and Panarin should be ashamed of that effort.

I thought Bread was good and Kreider invisible. We can have fourth liners with heart. With the cap crunch we have coming up signing Strome would be a massive mistake.

Tampa knows how to win games. Including the ones they do not deserve.

The “victimized by the refs” narrative is predictable, but disappointing. Rangers had chances and did everything but win a game they probably deserved. Sucks but it’s hockey.

They’ve got the ability to win two straight. We know this. I wouldn’t bet against it happening for a second, even against Tampa. I think they’re the better team in this series.
