Mentally weak. Plenty of positives and still a chance to force game 7, but this team is mentally weak.

I know, I know, come from behind all year, all playoffs, showing resilience - how can we be mentally weak? Well… I don’t f***ing know. I just know this team can’t f***ing play to their potential unless they’re losing/down and out. They simply cannot get out of their own way or play to their ability until the chips are down. They do damn good when the chips are down, but they still constantly put themselves behind the 8 ball and make it miles harder than it needs to be.

You are by far the most negative person on these boards game in, game out. Kinda an accomplishment to be honest.

And if Drury extends Ryan Strome he is more of an idiot than I previously thought.

Strome cares more than 90% of the guys out there. He’s just terrible at the things that you need to do to succeed in the playoffs. I’ll never question his heart though. He clearly cares more than some of the highest paid players we have. Kreider and Panarin should be ashamed of that effort.

Momentum doesn't carry game to game in the playoffs. Except when it's against the Rangers. We blew it in Carolina and barely survived coming back. We blew it game 3 against Tampa. Difference is Tampa knows what it takes and they won't let us get a sniff close again.
