Some day, you'll do this and we'll get swept in the first round. Just 4 consecutive posts of "can't win 16 until you win 1 first".Can’t win 16 until you win 11 first.
…..and one day I’ll hopefully post can’t win 16 until you win 16 first and we win a cup. Some day, you'll do this and we'll get swept in the first round. Just 4 consecutive posts of "can't win 16 until you win 1 first".
Do we believe in interdecade momentum?
In a nutshell that is what it is . We are not the better team in this series and only on account of Shesty do we have 2 wins.....it certainly is not on account of the play of Kreider one of our leaders . Leave Rempe/Wheeler in the stands and put Jones in to help the overwhelmed D . They are getting no help from our Blueline /RedLine type guys in Panarin/Kreider during these times they are trapped . They stay as far away from physical contact as they possibly can....at times I think they are still in the dressing rm . Please for the life of me.....remove Mika from PP1 and go with Laf . That is so obvious .Things need to change. Whether it's the system/scheme, whatever they have been doing isn't working. It's a miracle this series is tied 2-2; the NYR are lucky this series isn't already over in a sweep. They can't get the puck out their own end, get hemmed in and are hanging on for dear life, leaving Shesterkin out to dry. They are gassed. They never have the puck.
The Panthers are a heavy team; the Rangers are as far away from that as you can get. Not many, if any, teams win a Stanley Cup playing how the Rangers play, you need to be heavy; it's not in their DNA. It's hard to envision the NYR winning 2 of the next possible 3 games playing how they are. Their best players need to be their best players. They need to play a 60+ minute game, not a 10-20 minute game. The time is now to show what/who they are. They've stepped up before, but the Panthers are the better team; they know what they need to do to win.
League fans have said the Rangers series have been great hockey and entertaining. We’re probably just too close to enjoy it.Despite all of the winning….. is it just me or has this postseason not been enjoyable?
High expectations? Opponents style? Close games?
I just want Zibinashit to give a shit. And Fox to play the game- no whining or pouting. This is playoff hockey!
Tedious defense-first opponents aren’t enjoyable to watch.Despite all of the winning….. is it just me or has this postseason not been enjoyable?

I think the refs have missed calls both ways. The simple explanation is that the Panthers have more powerplays because the puck is on their stick 66% of the game. Rangers need to find a way to control the puck more.Of the 8 goals the Panthers scored cumulatively in the last 3 games, 5 have been on power plays. The refs in this series have been biased f***ing douchebags there is no doubt. VESEY was hunted but no penalty. Its f***ing bullshit.
Our challenge is to be more physical but get called on less penalties. please let the refs NOT be out to get us and NOT overlook every f***ing penalty the Panthers commit. They prod and jab Igor and the refs do nothing. They injured Lindgren with a high hit and nothing. NHL should be f***ing ashamed of these asshole refs clear anti Ranger BIAS.
Being more physical will help with our puck possession and once we have more puck possession then maybe we'll get either the breakaway goal or get our own power play. We need to up our GRIT and beat the crap out of them and please Artemi, Chris and Mika - WAKE UP!!
The Stars had a forgettable game last night. It happens in every single run. I’m sure their fans are worried. It’s all about how you bounce back. It’s about who can reach down the deepest and respond when no one thinks you’re capable.
This core felt the anguish of defeat in the 2022 ECF. They bent until they broke. They know if they don’t show up tonight, it could be on the table again this Saturday in Florida.
I believe in this core, what they’ve gone through, the season they’ve had, the resilience they’ve showed.
They find a way tonight.
