Great point.

Crosby is ELITE offensively and Mika had his hands full focusing on not letting him score 5 per game and it really hindered his offensive game, Staal is ELITE defensively (and Fast is excellent too) and Mika had his hands full getting any offensive traction when they were matched up with him. Cirelli, while very good, is neither, and Mika can do his thing.
And Mika is still third in the playoffs with 21 points. He's sick.

Score early … plant the seeds of doubt…

No score settling … let maroon chase something that’s not there …

Hit McDonagh early often- hit him high …

We were too passive getting the puck out at times … especially KAM … Miller let too many guys slide past him …

But he made up for it with the Primary Assist on The SHIFT

Sticking with my Rangers in foue prediction. Tonight should be close, though, wouldn't be surpised to see it go to ot.

Speaking of ot: every takeout is going to closed come puck drop. Any ideas for a game time snack/meal?

Isn't Trondheim north enough to have 24 hours of daylight by this time of year? Every takeout place should stay open as long as there's daylight.

Nah, man. It's still pretty far to the arctic circle from here.

They should, but they don't. I'd have to go to the city centre to find anything open, no one delivers after midnightnand no way am I going to be sober enough to drive.

Avs are playing as good as us or better
The Avs really scare me. They play the same game as us, only better and quicker than we can. They are extremely fast, even more so than the Canes. And the Canes gave us fits. It sure looks like if we want to win the Cup, we are gonna have to beat the best there is. And that is no small feat with them having home ice in a place where we don't do well.

Shesty has faced them only once and got the win at MSG.

At least we have Shesty, the Avs wouldn't have played a goalie as good as him yet.

You could always order it earlier and then just save it and reheat it later. Or go to the store beforehand and get something you can whip up quickly.

Home ice advantage will be very important for us in the coming years.

Do you see the irony?

The narrative coming into this series is that the Rangers haven't faced a real goalie yet, which every Ranger fan has downplayed. Now half this board wants to discount the Avs for the same reason.

The Avs are a really good team. The only weakness they have is in goal, but if they spend the entire game in our end of the ice, it won't matter. And let's not act like we'll just be able to shut them down like we did Carolina. Pittsburgh scored a lot on us and the Avs are a much deeper team.

Exactly this. We can beat them (if we end up playing them), but I could also see it being very one-sided. Of course, I felt the same way about Carolina, and that turned out well, but the Avs are on another level.

You make a lot of sense.

Pittsburgh and Colorado play completely different games.

Avs are Canes on acid and with more talent and creativity, especially when they decide to focus on D and 2-way hockey like last night.

They do. Colorado is a lot faster and deeper. I was just pointing out that if we had trouble shutting down Pittsburgh, we'll have even more trouble shutting down Colorado.
