Duplicate post. I've got 4 kids 5 and under. I don't sleep and my memory is going. My bad.

Phone at 81% though. May the powers of Marcel Hossa and Enver Lisin help us protect our mighty garden tonight.

Just like Carolina's home winning streak, and being undefeated in Game 7's, Tampa's 17-0 record after a loss seems like one that is ready to be broken.

Vasilevskiy isn't going to give up 6 tonight, but we can beat these guys. I respect the Lightning but they are an older & slower team than Carolina and the Rangers are firing on all cylinders right now. Match their intensity and get to Tampa Bay up 2-0

Those stupid media things don't matter. Panarin is 5-0 against the Lightning! The Lightning don't lose 2 in a row! One of those will end. The streaks don't matter like GG said. They didn't play us each time. Panarin didn't beat the 2022 TBL each time. So who cares?

Like last game: If we win it's cause of rust. If they win it's cause we are tired. OR, watch the game and make a story based on what you see. Sports media in general is 95% stupidity.

This game will feature almost certainly a better performance from the lightning.

It's hard to figure out whether it was the rest and time off or what, but I'm glad our guys took advantage and provided some great finishes when the opportunity arose.

This season Tampa did have a measurably better record at home, so you'd like to win all your home games if possible.

I've been saying that NHL hockey is a young man's game since Towes and Kane were 21 and first won the cup with the Hawks twelve years ago. Average age for that team was under 27. They won it twice more.

Now is the Rangers' time. I've believed it all year long and I've attended more games this year than I have in the past five combined. What you're seeing is real. Let's Go Rangers!

I think saying Tampa was rusty is a BS excuse for them. Maybe Vasi & their PP weren't clicking because of the time off, but that doesnt explain why the Rangers were outskating and outmuscling them on the cycle and off the rush. You'd think 9 days off would work in their favor in those areas.

The Rangers being the youngest and Tampa the oldest in the payoffs will make an impact in this series. Experience, to me, is no longer a factor. Our team knows we have what it takes to win after the first 2 rounds

It wasn't an excuse in period 1. Only when the kids took the game over.

Easily the most important game of the series. Tampa has no excuse of rust. They played a game and got it out of the way. This may not be their best game, but it will be much much better than the other night.

They need to keep putting pressure on that right side of their defense. Make Bogosian, Rutta, and Foote have to make plays. Cernak had his issues, especially on that 3rd goal. It's the weakest part of their team and the Rangers on LW is their best.

Beyond that, they're going to need to be better at limiting chances. Shesterkin was fantastic, but I expect Vasilevskiy to step his game up. If both teams are even in chances, I'm not sure who wins. This is probably the one team the Rangers need to out chance to beat.

This. If it was rust the flow of the game would have been the exact opposite. Tampa was good enough to tie it after the first two goals. Then the Rangers pulled away.

I expect a different game tonight, but again I'm not sure Cooper has the depth to stop the kids. They smell blood.

I thought the Lightning came out and played a good first period. But like the Rangers in game 1 against Pittsburgh, I think the Lightning expended all of their energy in the first. First game in 9 days, a raucous Garden crowd, the ECF all these factors had them amped up. I expect them to get better as the series progresses.
