I remember him saying we had no chance in both the series against the pens and carolina. Says weve been lucky in each series. i believe he picked the lightning to sweep us actually. Not sure but i recall him on sirius xm nhl radio openly saying this. I had to turn it off hearing the crap coming from his mouth especially bc he played for us.

They are incredibly resilient and they believe in themselves. Which as a young time is a big deal. Young players are the most unpredictable. Which is why Tampa isn’t exactly looking forward to playing us. We are the last team that is standing in their way.

He matches up much better against Tampa.
He can't force the cross seam pass though if it's not there. TB will collapse to the middle. He needs to establish his shot
While I agree, they did just sweep the President's Trophy winners...
I think this is the worst matchup for him.
He would do unholy things to Colorado and Edmonton though.

Totally different composition. For starters, we have competent (even godlike) goaltending, and our offense isn’t exactly terrible either. Our power play has also been far more impressive (during the postseason) than Florida’s. I think we’re gonna be a substantial challenge for Tampa.
