Going to watch some USMNT soccer until the Ranger game starts. It will be oddly relaxing before my heart rate jumps to 200 bpm. Playoff hockey is a god damn cardiac stress test.

Not feeling great about it. Maybe we walk out with an OT win. Just enjoy it while it lasts. As soon as Point is back, we’re done.

We have a shot as long as Brayden Point is out. Not a great shot. But still better than Pittsburgh yet worse than Carolina.

Isn’t it kinda funny how we got knocked for having Shesty but they have Vasy and nobody knocks them for it?

All you hear about is how important goaltending is especially this time of year but then having an elite goalie is looked at as some kind of unfair advantage if it wins you games

Bolts fans trying to talk themselves into being the underdogs and Rangers fans being cocky. They must not be familiar with us.

I think the sky would still be falling when Kreider was being handed the cup.

Jesus Christ have some faith in your team. We just beat one of the most experienced teams in the playoffs while being down 1-3. And then we beat the best forechecking team in the league. While having to come back 0-2 and 2-3.

I have a few friends who moved to Tampa Bay a few years ago. Not big sports fans but they expect championships in multiple sports now each year. The market can’t even attract a bball team. Crazy.

None of those are valid reasons for me to think we can beat this team. In any event, I won’t be disappointed, and I might be pleasantly surprised. Considering I enjoy watching the product either way, I don’t see how the alternative could be better.
 
The best thing going for the Rangers, is that we were not expected to get here.

House money. Zero pressure. Just go out there and play their asses off.

I also want to see Trouba finish off the hat trick and drill Kucherov.
