The other pre-game thread was locked, so I assume here is good.

Rangers should rest Hank w/Cam.
Want him to stay fresh. This is the slot.

As to Brassard believed out game 2, this is where JT Miller should be inserted.
But play him at C with Kreider.
Move Stepan to Brassard's slot
Would also support more minutes for D. Moore on higher shift

Goalies like Hank just simply don't sit out games in the playoffs, let alone ECF.

As for JT Miller, I personally don't feel comfortable with him playing IMO. I'd rather Carcillo jump in. He's been an energy boost for this team when we needed it. If the Habs find their game, we're going to need it.

Having been unable to conclusively show Kreider's intention to run into Price using the video, there is now a thread on the habs board that shows, and I **** you not, a "screencap that proves Kreider was in control."

If Brass cant play then Carcillo should absolutely be put it in the lineup with Dom Moore moving up to Brass' line. Rather have the experience than the youth. This is the ECF. Not the time to experiment.

Agree. and I am a JT fan.

It was clearly made in NHL14

Rangers are not going to start Cam. You don't play around with playoff games. You put out your best possible lineup night after night.

There's also no reason to take Kreider off of the line with Stepan and Nash. They all had a goal and an assist apiece in the first game of the series. It doesn't make sense to break them up.

The coach doesn't want his players being confident and focused?

Prust wants to run his mouth, you think that isn't something that could motivate the Rangers? It's a two way street, I'm not sure I see your point here.

teams use all kinds of reasons to motivate themselves...and Kreider saying he only regrets not scoring could be use as a motivation by the habs.

Now what Prust said, yes maybe that could motivate the rangers, i don't know, but i wasn't talking about him.Quite frankly, i wish Prust would talk less. He's a bit too emotional for my taste.

Bad news for our Habs, they loose Carey Price for the entire serie because of the collision with the Rangers forward Kreider. Whether we think it was an accident or not, Kreider is the only one who truly knows his intention. Of course this frustrates Price's teammates so I'm curious to see how they're gonna respond and especially towards the Rangers goalie Lundqvist who is their back bone. Important fact to mention, while I was playing for the Pittsburgh Penguins, a night we were playing in Philadelphia, the players from the Flyers kept running into our goalie Marc-Andre Fleury. So I got the green light from Michel Therrien to run their goalie at the time who was Martin Biron. I got fined by the league but
It wad obviously covered by our team... They never ran our goalie again! Live by the sword, die by the sword!

Only reason you rest Hank at this point is if he ask for the night off or clearly battles some sort of injury that would heal up with a night off.

Kreider is talking like that because he knows he didn't do anything wrong. I doubt he'd be talking like that if he really did it on purpose.

They know that he didn't purposely did it. Their goalie is out, so they need to rally around something. I doubt they care what Kreider says.

The only thing is, any Habs player who crashes into Lundqvist now will automatically be pegged as "running him" to hurt him. If I'm the Habs I focus on getting pucks past him instead, because everyone will be watching for the goalie collisions now and I would think the refs included.

"Brandon Prust also added fuel to the fire by suggesting that hockey players know how to make such collisions happen and look like accidents. That definitely speaks more to what kind of person Brandon Prust is than to whether Kreider hit Price on purpose (hint: you have to be a bit of a ******** to brag about knowing how to injure someone while making it look like an accident). Then again, maybe he's speaking from personal experience based on this video. Or maybe he's upset that it's his job as the enforcer on the Habs to ensure that no one runs the goalie. Guess he's a total failure since Price is now out for the series. The best comment I've seen on Prust's "advice": The worst part of this whole Kreider thing is Prust's suggestion that he can tell Kreider something about skating technique. I can understand why someone who's skating more closely resembles molasses and has so much experience falling thinks it is a simple thing to adjust your body when you're falling. Of course, Prust couldn't skate 30km/hr+ if he was holding on the back of a truck."

OMG that is hilarious! This article nails it!

According to Pat Leonard Dom Moore moved up into Brassard's spot between Puliot and Zuccarello, and Carcillo skated with Boyle and Dorsett.

It's unfortunate the Price is out. I was looking forward to the series with him in there.
I just do not have a ton of respect for statements like Therrien and some others make.
And yes, I would be angry if Lundqvist got hurt but I still would know that a scenario such as Kreider's spill was nothing intentional. Stating that he could have avoided him, after that stick being laid on him, is a statement driven by emotion. I understand where it comes from emotionally, but it is no less untrue.

i don't think his coach would agree with you. this is the type of comment that will motivate the other team.

So was was Subban said vs. the Bruins or Giroux vs. The Rangers or Toews vs. the Bruins

... yeah, people say things all the time. They really don't have nearly as much of a factor on things as people on HF Boards seem to think.

Talbot is better then any goalie they have left regardless of Lundqvist, I'd have faith in him.
