Huh? Lifeguards or bodyguards?

That's the most comical part about it, the only way the Habs can hurt him is if they take a cheap shot at him. Which will only make them look even worse than they already do for blowing this whole thing out of proportion given the fact that Emelin blows and Kreider didn't change his direction in half a second, he did however catch an edge and try to slow himself before hitting Price. All details that are ignored because the fans need an excuse for their team playing a piss poor game.

I think it's fairly clear by now that the Rangers don't get pushed around regardless of who they play and especially not against the diminutive Habs forwards.

Completely ignored he was air born, got his edge down before contact, and actually spun away and into the post instead of going into price full steam. Ignore those facts just like they ignore everything about the letang/kreider contact into fleury last round, all except the terrible call that no one agreed with.

Budaj will dive any time kreider comes near him and he'll get the call and kreiders rep as a goalie enemy will be cemented.

Funny. We get no respect for making the conference finals, we'll get no respect if we beat the price-less habs, and we'll be the benefactors of the "war of attrition" west if we take the cup. At this point I'm hoping for every possible twist of luck and favortism just to piss all the detractors off.

The first key to tonight is if the Rangers can cash in on the power plays that they get early on. You know the Habs are going to come out flying early. The Rangers were awful for 18 minutes of the 2nd period in Game 1, Hank kept it 2-1 and the Rangers ran away with it after that.

Scoring early tonight is the second key to tonight. You can't let whoever's in goal get comfortable early on. With Price out, this can either turn into a quick series for the Rangers, or this game can give new life to Montreal. Don't give Montreal new life.

Unfortunately I think the Rangers spend more time in the box tonight, and it costs them. I think this series will be even going back to MSG.

Giants won the Superbowl with Jeff Hostettler

Bills orchestrated the best playoff comeback ever with Frank Reich

if they lose it's on them.... no asterisk. It's called sports.

Jeff Hostetler was always my favorite Giants QB guy was a mental monster loved that guy:nod:

my 2 cents

this is a very dangerous time for the Rangers.

1. This totally changes Karma. The NYR rallied behing Marty's mothers death, now the Canadians have a rally cry.

2. I may be wrong, because I was so young, but I believe in 1979 Eastern Conf finals the NYR won game1....then Dryden got hurt, and MTL went on to win the next 4 with a backup goalie.....sound familiar? Someone older than me may be able to confirm.

3. THE NYR don't exactly do well against rookie goalies.

4. The NYR are clearly the fvorites instead of the underdogs.

I hope we blitz them. Get up early tonight and the Habs may roll over.

Dangerous time.

Tonights game is going to be hellish! Can't wait for it!

The Ducks called up Gibson, he played well for one game. I hope Tokarsky doesn't even get one good start. We have to pepper him for the get go. And please, just keep Hank safe! (although I have strong faith in Talbot)

Asked if he had any regrets on play, whether he would've done anything differently, Kreider said he only wished he would've scored

Kreider's response to the media today. Beast.

Montreal had been overachieving, shooting 22% on the PP. Please. That's unsustainable. I had a feeling they'd come back down to earth n can't really say they have definitively based on one game, but we outplayed them everywhere in game one.

Good job Rangers? Nope. Just excuses and telling us how lucky we are. They've already given the cup to the Hawks.

I'm loving it.

Habs fans say Prust will probably not play because Galchenyuk will return from injury.

If so, that's one less factor Kreider has to worry about.

But I got a feeling there will be some surprises in their lineup, we may even see Parros. Habs coach is pissed.

Great because all he will do is read his Princeton economics book on the bench.
