I wonder if they'll rest Brassard just for tonight considering the series just took a pretty big swing our way?

If anyone honestly believes this is over they should take a look at our record against backups.

This series is FAR from over.

:shakehead

Ah, the old back-up myth. Just as relevant as not being able to come back from 3-1 and never beating the Penguins. How about Henrik sucking in Montreal the other night?

I think it is safe to say all bets are off and right now the Rangers have a big advantage.

Anyway, this can be a HUGE rallying point for Montreal. If they come out and play hard and the backup (whoever is playing) helps take this game on the biggest stage it can turn the tide of the series and be a huge boost for both the team and goalie that is in.

It could also just as easily be a total disaster for them

I hope Kreids gets a Hat Trick tonight. The hate is strong for a play that their own d-man caused for being too slow. When you have fans calling for MTL to ram hanks head into the crossbar etc etc, thats going over the line. I hope Prust tries to take a liberty and ends up in the box all night. I have full faith Kreids can handle himself just fine.

Yeah Matt I just realized after my post, the lights went on. hahahahahah

how are you? Yep LGR baby!

If you're bored go back to our Rangers thread on TGG it has 13,000 posts...about 6,000 of them are mine...LOL....LGR!

Guys, please stop discussing moderator actions in public posts. We don't want to have to assess more infractions. Thanks.

One thing that I've never understood is the preoccupation with the past rather than the future. Look at this and how it will affect games and play going forward, rather than spending 6 hours debating whether or not something was dirty or not.

It's done. He isn't coming back, and how the Habs respond will have little to do with whether we capture the right camera angle.

I think someone posted our numbers against backups and they were actually better than against starters. I love you Ail.

I bet Kreider is TERRIFIED of having to answer to meatheads like Brendan Gallagher, David Desharnais, and super heavyweight Brandon Prust.

Well, actually it was 2-1 with some positive MTL momentum when the incident with Kreider and Price happened, and both of the 3-1 and 4-1 goals that followed shortly thereafter got by him on the (supposedly knee-injured) stick side.

Still, Habs fans who want to discuss hypotheticals should note that we did have the lead when he got hurt.

Except one was a well placed shot on the breakaway and one was a stupid decision by Price to cheat on a wraparound. I do wonder if he cheated because he was worried that with the injury he wouldn't be able to get there. Still, no guarantee that he stops either one. Then 2 of the 3 goals on Budaj were unstoppable and the soft one was when the game was over.
