Hard to make the case for Robertson signing in Detroit. He doesn't have a Cup in his pocket.
While I agree he won’t sign if he wants to win, it is questionable if winning is his priority given he’s about to leave a cup contender who offered him 12M to chase the bagHard to make the case for Robertson signing in Detroit. He doesn't have a Cup in his pocket.
How could anyone pass up an opportunity to be centered by Copp, Compher kasper and danielsonHard to make the case for Robertson signing in Detroit. He doesn't have a Cup in his pocket.

You can even get breakout passes off the glass from Chiarot and Bernard-Docker.
I mean he's demanding money he knows Dallas can't possibly offer him, how much of a priority is winning a Cup? He also lives in Detroit in the off-season as does his entire familyHard to make the case for Robertson signing in Detroit. He doesn't have a Cup in his pocket.

Man…I’ve been fighting the urge to tear it down but there’s just too many holes.
More like holding my breath. The current market is certainly great for sellers, but I have no idea what direction Yzerman is going to take this franchise in.Detroit fans must be salivating over the trades the last couple days.
I never even considered the idea of them rebuilding. Long past that time. Ideally speaking you do what Ottawa just did. At least you guys have good prospects.More like holding my breath. I would strongly prefer a rebuild of the rebuild, targeting high end prospects. But I don't have a lot of faith in ownership not meddling and instead a short term fix with a lower ceiling ends up happening.

That’s not gonna cut itI’d offer 12th overall, 35th overall and Mercer from NJ
Just what do you expect he'll return? That’s not gonna cut it
And you’d get rejected.I’d offer 12th overall, 35th overall and Mercer from NJ

For Larkin? NoStart with Hischeir, then we can have a real conversation.
Isnt Mercer untouchable?I’d offer 12th overall, 35th overall and Mercer from NJ

We don’t fully know how limited the suitors are. And considering Bowen Byram just got #4 + I would say more than thatJust what do you expect he'll return?
There's limited suitors
Haha get real. Larkin is the one asking for a trade. The return is most likely going to be futures and a decent roster playerStart with Hischeir, then we can have a real conversation.
