We’d probably be 100+ point team if we started the year with him, just by the fact that there would be a servicable body occupying the 2C slot and Pinto could just be the 3C for the entire year.
This.

Pinto/Greig/Amadio playing the way they are is a huge advantage in the 3 spot.

Even if Cozens/Bath/Perron are inconsistent, the talent is there and other teams need to repect that.

Pinto lines makes for advantageous line matches both on the road and at home - although in different ways.

Finishes the season with 47 points (same as last year) and scored at a 62 point pace while with Ottawa.

He doesn't battle for pucks the way Norris does and is much worse defensively, but he's available and has chemistry with Batherson. It's an immediate win and will be going forward simply because he's healthy enough to play.

Norris only missed 8 games for us this year, we lost 6 of those games, so maybe having Cozens gets us an extra couple wins in those games to push us over 100 pts, but Pinto was out for 4 of those loses too so we can't blame it all on Norris' health.

With the instant chemistry that Zetterlund had with Cozens and Drake, I think we may see more of that line.

Green seems comfortable moving Zetterlund around a bit, so while I believe he starts with Z on the 4th line, he may spell both G and Perron at times.

Yeah, I am expecting that our lines in the playoffs will remain fairly fluid, just like they have been all year.

I think that the main duos of Stutz/Tkachuk, Cozens/Bath & Pinto/Greig will remain intact and then wingers FabZ, Giroux, Perron, Amadio & possibly Cousins will rotate in & out of those 3 duos & the 4th line.

I agree except for the 3rd line. There would have to be a major issue to break those 3 up. They will be catalysts to a victory IMO. Too good, too consistent, too great of a match-up against other top lines.

They compliment each other so well, it really breaks up the chemistry when one of them is off the line. We saw that in the short experiment earlier when the took Amadio off for Zetterlund.

I actually think he wins more puck battles than Norris. He is much worse defensively and has lower IQ, sadly.

Excited to see him in the playoffs. Chance for him to ramp up the physicality and speed.

His ability to skate the puck out of the zone is a nice compliment to the Sens puck moving D and makes for some simple breakouts with less flips and dumps.

Has the ability to beat goalies from range with a heavy shot when in the right position. That can be huge in the playoffs. Kind of like a bigger Kyle Turris.
