What a glorious morning.

Don’t turn puck over in own zone and win a freakin draw.

What happened to the term faceoff specialist? Bring Mac-t out...

How about drawing up a few set plays that set our shooters up?

Anyhow if they claw this one out by some miracle should set them up for a good run.

And that Archie hit wasn’t dirty. He’s like half his size. Looked worse I thought. Seems like the punishments are deemed based on reputation. Slap on the wrist.

The Archie hate is ridiculous up 3 with 9 minutes left this team should have been able to close it out, utter failure of a core and coaching staff that should have already learned the lesson in 2017 Ducks Debacle. Oh also I found footage of the bench after the 4-2 goal

Re watching the third after the vodka is out of my system and wondering why the flip Tippet switched to a 1-3-1 at 4-1 when everybody and their uncle knows the Oilers are crao when they're not pushing the play? What kind of players does he think he has on this team?

Also in OT why was Khaira out there with the jets having the last change, and being crap on the dot all night? And why the heck would you give Devin Shore more 5 on 5 time than Yamamoto and RNH?

2 straight years tippet has been heavily outcoached. Maybe he just isn't a good coach in the playoffs and the Oilers should find his replacement.
I'm a fan of Tippett, but Vignault and Gallant would be way better game managers

What kinda dumb coaching decisions are in play this morning?

Does it matter? I will be shocked if this is not over tonight. Players are dejected, they are not going to have their hopes lifted by some Tippet pep talk. I would love an epic comeback, but the chances of it happening are minuscule.

I hope we won't have to hear a lot of talk about "X is Canada's team" for too long. And not for the Leafs, please. Frankly, I'd rather see the Jets progress from the North rather than the Leafs.

Time to make history Oilers, the type of history that is expected when you have players that are talked about in the same breath as Gretzky and Lemieux. The alternative is just waiting for the Jets to turn the knife.

For the record my expectations are set at a shut-out victory for the Jets tonight.

It's so wild to me that Tippet doesn't see the problems with Bear's play.

I know he's not going to straight up call him out in a post game presser, but good God, if he actually believes Bear played a "great" game.... f***ing yikes.

He should be sitting tonight. No question.

I'm hoping the Habs bodybag more Leafs players. Tavares is out.

Their gameplan is already in motion. :naughty:

If we lose tonight I’m taking a break from watching hockey for a while. I haven’t given an f about the other divisions this year so I’m not starting now. If the Jets make it to Round 3 I’ll watch the Jets.

Too young to throw him under the bus and kill his confidence.

He knows it but he's not going to be honest and create a media storm about it. Working as a team, even the coach has to be careful about what he says to the media. They still got a game left.. so it's probably not the time to rip into Bear (who wouldn't in that situation?). It's understandable what Tippett is doing and saying. The guy is just trying to protect a young player who is still prone to making bad plays.
