I kind of agree it was a steep price.

Equivalent would be:

1st rounder pick
Tomas Plekanec
Conditional 1st rounder in '18

We don't know what the conditions are but 2 firsts for Schenn doesn't seem worth it.

The condition is great for St. Louis. The price wasn't steep at all, imo.

Even without Radulov, we have Patch, Gally, Drouin, Lehkonen, Shaw, Byron as wingers.. why would we waste picks on another winger when we need C and LHD.

I'm sorry for anyone who got their hopes up thinking we would be able to clear some 5 million in cap space by unloading Pleks. But honestly, anyone who really thought someone wants an aging, declining, almost smurf must love science fiction, because reality hurts.

What a bad and sooo predictable pick.

Tolvanen. Not a C but skill wise not even close.

Dumbass organization.

Schenn will end up costing 2X fist round picks, can't play centre and loaded up on easy PP points last season. Pass.

Is Poheling even our C with the best upside?

I have nothing against Mike Fisher, but I'd rather pick a guu with more upside than that with a 1st rounder...

The team is picking at #25, can't exactly shoot for the moon when the prospect pool is already so depleted. He's easily got the highest upside of our center prospects.

There's a positive in all this. I feel very, very confident that this was Timmins' last draft with the Habs.

I'm a 100% that this POS and some of his staff will be fired before the next draft

If that was the condition it should of easily been don't by Bergevin. It doesn't make sense why it's always hard to acquire actual top 6 forwards according to Bergevin.

He did it for Drouin and we have picks this year and next.

Habs need to be more creative, maybe he could develop an allergy to ice
