After how hard Chicago milked that pick I hope Poile comes up to the podium and says something like "We would like to thank our gracious hosts here in Chicago and congratulate them on their first round appearance this year".

Also, we don't need to spend 2 1sts on another winger, even though I like Schenn.

I'm sorry for anyone who got their hopes up thinking we would be able to clear some 5 million in cap space by unloading Pleks. But honestly, anyone who really thought someone wants an aging, declining, almost smurf must love science fiction, because reality hurts.

But also a turtleneck

If that was the condition it should of easily been don't by Bergevin. It doesn't make sense why it's always hard to acquire actual top 6 forwards according to Bergevin.

He did it for Drouin and we have picks this year and next.

Maybe he wants to use our assets to acquire a 1C or a top 4LD as opposed to another LW?

Which reality, that, or the fact that he was, once again, our best centre in the playoffs?

There's a positive in all this. I feel very, very confident that this was Timmins' last draft with the Habs.

I'm a 100% that this POS and some of his staff will be fired before the next draft

That is called wishful thinking. It will NEVER happen. Until Bergevin is there, Timmins stays. Not sure how it is contract wise, but you will here an extension way sooner than a firing. The only way Timmins goes is if he leaves, named GM or whatever.

I get that, but he drafted with this year's first where as St.Louis moved theirs. The Habs really have:

2nd's
Galchenyuk
Gallagher
Juulsen

Are really the only pieces I see get us what your saying above.

Schenn can play both center and LW. I think Schenn could of helped the Habs.
