That does not appear at all to be a projection of a player most consider to have a pretty good chance of being a top line center at the NHL level.Hayes to me is much more of a Comparable player to Dach. Big bodied, and uses his strength to his advantage. I think he is deceptive when he has the puck, much in the same way Hayes can be. He’s really effective moving the puck through traffic, and makes some really creative passes when it doesn’t appear to have room to make a play. Protects the puck well with his size, and reach like Hayes does too. Not so concerned with his skating, seems like he does lack high end speed but he does move pretty good. He also to me looks really solid in his awareness as a two-way type of Centerman.
