That’s how he’s making it up likely. There’s rumors we’ve talked to him in the past because of that relationship which is probably true. Maybe we have talked to him but Eklund is never right until it’s an e5 which means he’s reading it from someone else who’s actually legit about reporting.

Yep. Holtby still overpaid by about 1.5-2m more than he should have been after last year, but that one's at least ok in a "he might bounce back" sense.

Murray is grossly overpaid at this deal. Biggest reason I wanted nothing to do with him. As I said he'd cost nearly as much as our tandem combined, and both our goalies were better than him last season.

To do anything else in net, this team needs to shed one of the goalies without taking much cap back. I'm keeping an eye on Edmonton. The free agent options have dwindled. Mrazek's $3.125 mil x 1 contract is looking pretty good if a Greiss is after a Khudobin or Talbot-type deal.
