Things have been going too well this season, have to expect some bumps in the road.

the question is can they rally and regain their form. I think they will. Some rest and practice will help a lot.
Regardless, we should be beyond this now. We are a veteran team, no more excuses. Either play or get players in here that will. Enough is enough.
Make Willie the center, JT is just to slow in all aspects if the game now.

Hello, yes, Suicide Prevention Hotline...ummm, look, I don't know if you folks can send some people over to help, but there's this hockey forum website...oh, you've heard of...yes, yes, the Leafs board. Total meltdown, I'm worried there's going...oh, they're on their way. Thank you, you're saving lives here. Have a good night.

The leafs were the better team in games 1 and 2, Winnipeg in game 3. Despite this, Jets walk away with 5 of 6 points. Goaltending being the difference.

The Good: The game is finally over. Andersen gets some rest tomorrow night. Hughson wasn't calling the game. Didn't have to listen to Dregers deep contemplations on how really great he is, and Hrudey got limited time.

The Bad: For F&^$ sakes Fred, what the heck is going on man! You shouldn't be playing so galdarn poorly I need a stint on the IR and then a little conditioning stint with the Marlies and get woken up like Jonny Berns did, because this horsepuckey play has to stop. Where the heck are your mechanics, where's your vision you don't seem to be able to track the puck at all, when did you forget how to position yourself and finally what is with all the swimming or dropping to your knees half your shins in the net and leaving the post open?

The Ugly: Skilless needs to go back to referee school, Thornton's penalty was a penalty no argument from me, Bogosian hit stick not hands, and WTF was that call on Morgs, if nothing else Ehlers should have gone for the dive and 10 minutes for trying to make the refs look like knobs. The Hyman penalty??????? but JT getting tripped on the same play isn't called, the blatant interference during the 6 on 5 on JT by Lowry totally ignored. So when Schieffle gets called on the trip and the whistle goes, he hammers the puck to the sidewall???? That ladies and germs is by any definition a 10 minute misconduct penalty. Why you ask? It is reckless, when the whistle blows play is over and someone relaxed could have been seriously injured, but no, and yet, Keefe calling Skilless bumbber clot a stupid f%&#!ng C^&# gets called! People always used to say "aw c'mon koho you know they don't do stuff like that" Then why does it keep happening? Do the zebra's lose their minds collectively when stepping through the doors of MLG, ACC and now Scotia Place? Did they all get barred for life from Zanzibar and are exacting their cunning revenge? Got nuthin

The biggest reason Dubois wanted out of Columbus was because of money...he ain't getting JT money because he's not a UFA and not nearly as good.
since when do you have to be a U F A to get JT money? You win on the not as good point though.

These are the types of test this team needs to overcome to reach the next level. Stop the skid, rebuild your lead in the division and coast to a big win of the division.

This needs to be the lowpoint of the season, and not just one of them.

Ha ha, good one. Leaf fans accept losing too easy. If they play hard and lose, fine wasn't your night. What we see in a lot of losses is still Lack Of Effort. That's a problem.

Even veteran teams slump, they just rebound quickly.

Let’s see if they can do that tomorrow.

so no Driving range for you? I was living through your ability to be able to go hit some balls at the range lol

2/3 s of the league is at 27 gp or under ,,so i set the bar for starting tenders at 12 gp ,,to cover the teams that do a 60/40 split

Fred is sub .900 on the season and sits 31 rst sv% if this game dips it to .898%

he has the 31 rst best save % among the starters,,,,,,let,,,that,,,,sink,,,,in !!! 31 rst

.Next year Freddie will be gone.
Next year Matthews will be healthy.
But next year Tavares will still be here making 11 mil.
For me , that’s the real problem.

You're right about that point...I guess I should have been more clear...not only is Dubois not as good as Tavares, he's nowhere near as good as Matthews or McDavid who are both paid more than Tavares as RFAs.

555 (in thai, 5 is pronounced 'ha'), heading over in a bit, a cool 32* today and I need to work off some of last night's nonsense. And some of today's frustrations after that game. Cheers.

I was wondering this...

Was a new rule implemented recently or has the League been reviewing whether or not a hand-pass occurred before a possible goal was scored for years? I didn't know the League did that. Obviously I knew the League reviewed whether or not an offside was missed prior to a possible goal.

My reaction to the review on the disallowed goal was, "WTF? Since when does the NHL review if there was a hand-pass?"
I always thought they gave a reason they were reviewing but this time they said review because of an infraction.

Not being happy after a loss is fine, but sometimes the reactions are a weeeeeeeeee bit over the top  Hope life is going well for you wherever you are :)

You're just splitting hairs by leaving Mitch out. lol or Eichel for that matter

NO we were NOT the better team,,Goalies ARE PART OF THE TEAM!

It's no different if our star center wins the game or the star tender

Keefe basically begged Dubas to make a move in the post game interview

subtle but it was there

"we dont have any flexibility to make any roster changes for tomorrow"

Andersen is now .899 on the season.

Campbell just needs to be healthy and the net is his.

I can't believe I am saying this but I'd even f***ing start Hutchinson more often if he plays well tomorrow. He can't be this bad.

At least Hutch knows he's bad and wouldn't try to unnecessarily play a puck in a tie game.

Let’s see if they can do that tomorrow.

It doesn't matter what the skaters do, somebody needs to stop the puck

We've been good for the bulk of this skid but if your getting sub 900 goaltending your going to lose

A lot

That has to turn around, asap
