This, in spades. And it is lost on some people when it comes to having those certain players available within your lineup that you can also move around, building a tougher bottom 6.

As much as folks get on Hunt, and even Goodrow for a bit, those are the guys that come play off time - their game isn't slowed down by the tighter checking playoffs, they're the aggressor.

100% we wore them down tonight.

Also, props to Strome - you stood in there toe to toe, ate a few, kept swinging. I don't get some of the hate he receives on here either.

I was hoping Strome would get the ENG for a Gordie Howe Hat Trick. Great game from him.

Sorry, didn't you read the ESPN article today? Panarin is drastically declining and is a problem for the Rangers because he's playing at a 1.19 p/g pace (it's 1.24 after tonight) and not the 1.37 p/g pace he was at the last two seasons. Don't let the fact that he missed time due to an injury and more time due to having Covid, those factors don't play into anything at all. He actually sucks now.

Those morons should write more of those negative articles. Motivate the team.

And you are so clearly a Schneider homer.

Both are good. It’s still very early, though.

But you just compared Schneider to Fox, which you tried to make fun of me for even though I’ve never actually done it.
The poster didn't compare Schneider to Fox. The poster was pointing out how impressive this is considering Schneider is 20 yers old.

KAM has a few gaffes here and there but I think he's been playing well and getting better.

Jones Schneider works

I feel like there's sort of unwritten Bible-level commandment among NHL coaches to not play two rookie defensemen on the same pairing in the playoffs.

It has been, but wasn’t tonite.

Team comes out and plays totally different, how does this change what happened the last 2 months?

Hunt isn’t a playoff asset.

Could you link that article please

This is only one of those games. One that looks incredibly different from a large majority of those other games.

Rangers followed up their last big win like this against Toronto with plenty of stinkers. Perhaps wait until this is a trend before the victory dance?

Nothing about the result of this game has magically made the Rangers a better 5v5 team.
Let's be serious here, if they lost this game you would be making a big deal about it.

I didn't even name you or anything, you literally just came in here now because you think you're one of the people that I'm talking about. That actually says more than anything I posted

He basically said he’s ahead of Fox who was still in college at 20.

Kreider has become a MASTER inside the crease and around it. I mean if this is his game now he will be worth every penny and will score 30 goals a season for the duration of his contract as long as we have guys like Fox and Panarin on the team. He is just monstrous in that area. And that type of game will preserve him. There are few defensemen as big or strong as him that can hold him down there. He destroys everyone.
Do you think the coaching change helped him? Hes really invigorated himself this season. Hes been a monster. I know some people get on Turk but I think he's helped Krieder.

hes 10 in nhl scoring and apparently having an off year lol

also has missed some games
That ESPN article had everyone shook. They said he's "slowing down" lol. He's still well over a point per game pace.

Best win of the year. I didn't think they were that bad in the first, but that's just the Rangers having gaslit me into thinking that's what a decent period looks like.

Zibanejad has been on fire and he's starting to really take over every shift he's out there. Reaves and Rooney's line had a much better night. Schneider was great. Lafreniere one ups Lundell. Board is filled with positivity except those who are still complaining about complaints. Cat pics are filling the thread.

Nature is healing.
