Kreider has become a MASTER inside the crease and around it. I mean if this is his game now he will be worth every penny and will score 30 goals a season for the duration of his contract as long as we have guys like Fox and Panarin on the team. He is just monstrous in that area. And that type of game will preserve him. There are few defensemen as big or strong as him that can hold him down there. He destroys everyone.

I'm gonna say it again... Schneider is 20 years old and playing a strong top4 game, doing everything. Led the team in SH ice time. Continues to read the play extremely well. Jumps in extremely well.

It's honestly baffling at this point that his Captaincy is not official. The only reason I could think of is you know how much the Rangers love their 'A's...Giving Kreider a C would mean taking a letter away from one of their 6 (lol) Alternates. And again we all know how much this franchise loves A's

Maybe the players like not having one captain but rather a collective?
