I will say one thing, the way this game started made Gallant look smart. Maybe with Georgiev they're down 4-1 or 5-1 and the hill is just too steep mentally.
This is (at the very least) the 2nd time that this has happened, where we have questioned; "why didn't he play Shesty against a better team in the Hurricanes. Could it be.....that the thinking was let's get the definite two points against Arizona? They KNEW they were going to be a tired team.
In other words guaranteeing at least 2 of the 4 Points available. On the other hand, if they play Shesty vs the Hurricanes and LOSE, they still have to fly home to play Arizona with Georgiev and could lose that game as well being tired and all.

Could that be the thinking? If so I still don't agree with it. Shesty should have started versus the Canes. That game was a four-point swing.

We need an ignore feature for any posts that suggest trading Trouba, Kreider, Mika, or Panarin. Not happening.
Never thought this wpuld happen but I have been man crushing on Troubs for this whole season. Now, that hes made public about his puppy (just got one myself, now have 3) well, that was just the icing on the cake. Love this guy, he has been a BIG BAD ASS DOG! (pun intended)

Yep. And we got Strome for nada. The only one that really hurts is ADA, since we got nothing in return. Not even a pick.
. In fairness they tried to trade him but after that last incident no team was going to give up anything since they knew he was going to be bought out anyway

You know, it would really suck for Ryan (not to mention ironic) if we were to send him BACK to Edmonton and a few prospects (I suppose, because he is a UFA, in an attempt to get "pool party". On the bright side, he would get 80 assists playing with McDavid, should they sign him, lol.

And we don't know what went on behind the scenes... but I sure as shit would have tried to trade him BEFORE announcing to the league that he wasn't welcome with our team anymore, if I was the GM

Not sure what transpired through out this game. Did the Arizona Coyotes wake up and realize they are the Arizona Coyotes or did the Rangers wake up and say what the F are we doing this is the Arizona Coyotes?

Apparently he was on his “last warning”. They should have moved him before there was a chance for it to get to the endgame.

Rangers got in at 430am or so from Carolina, started like crap. Woke up a bit and then the game looked like expected. Also Nemeth was particularly awful

And Buch. And Fast. And maybe even Hayes (would you deem Strome an upgrade in hindsight?)

Sometimes I think, well at least the clowns were exposed which made them lose their jobs, so it wasn’t in vain — then I realize that Drury is still here lol. Maybe he wasn’t aligned with Gorton in the madness.
