I wish the MSG crew would spend some time discussing this several times a game because I have no idea, also.

Haha, do they? I've watched fewer games on MSG this year. Maybe it's a brain fart but I remember them talking about his arsenal but have they said he was working on it?

Our travel schedule is and has been asinine. IF Olympics are a thing again in 4 years, they need to elongate the season.... not cram it in

Back 2 Backs with travel is beyond dumb. We do it again Thursday/Friday for Hank Night...
at least the schedule makers were kind enough to keep our back to backs in different cities in the same time zone this time.

They played last night at home and had to fly to New Jersey after the game. Joe said the Rangers got in at 3:30 am. Carolina probably a similar story. By the time both teams got to bed it had to be about 6:00 am.
Still think they should have and could have won that game after the butt kicking they gave us.

Horrendous start but they turned it on and took total control once they got their legs. That ability to push back is good even if it was Arizona.

I think Gallant should leave Panarin with Mika and Kreider for a while. Flank Strome with Laf and Kakko. Strome has had chemistry with both of them. This was we get some freshness and also thrust Kakko and Laf into roles where they can’t just be passengers. I think it’s at least worth a shit giving those lines some runway.

If you'd have told me, Kreider would be leading the league in goals scored over Ovechkin, at any time of the year,... I would have said that cap is on too tight and blocking blood to your brain. That's just unbelievable!

I know this isn't a good thing, but lately, it seems the Rangers are just going through the motions in the first half of games. Like they know they are better, and giving teams leads just to make it interesting. Sorta like a head start if you will. Am I crazy, or does anyone else see it like this? This is just so cocky and arrogant of them,.. I can't help but love it! It's just so much fun to see Dr. Jekyll turn into the indomitable Mr. Hyde, shattering all hopes of making it out alive. LOL!

But in all honestly,... it's time the Rangers start taking teams seriously from the drop of the puck or we could be in for a hurting come playoffs. They can't do this with the Kings on Monday. Fortunately, it will be LA's second game of a back to back. They play the Debbies tomorrow night.

Its nice to know our core. Obviously this core will age out but then we have our youngins come in and become the new core. I see why drury did small additions now. Yeah the buch trade was probably not good (i think its still incomplete, hell what if we get an aho with the second rounder) and the nemeth signing was wierd because for a long time, he had great defensive underlying stats. However, he extended fox, mika, and brought in goodrow. These guys played a big part. Also, if marchand got better into his 30s, can kreider be that guy too?

If the Rangers didn't do this against a better team in Carolina I would say maybe they get complacent and lazy. But it just seems like they're not ready for games.

I wonder if he was practicing those tip ins in the offseason because has been good at these but he was never this good.
He's been practicing those deflections after every practice for a long as I can remember. It's been well documented. He's been the best at it for a number of years now.

From the snippets of his interviews, it's a mental thing. He's found himself spiritually.
I think the comfort factor is huge for these guys. Sometimes the retirement contract calms a guy down and let’s him fully be his best self.
The mental part of sport is so big.
