Um I have nearly 10,000 posts on HFBoards thank you. I think my opinion holds a little more credibility than a handful of players who have probably never posted on HF...
Great and all of our opinions mean less than the actual players being interviewed and going against our takes.

I have several bad takes in my 40,000 plus posts, that is the nature of opinion posts. The US dressing room refutes your notion and that is probably most important. Not sure that was the download of post game interviews up north or elsewhere but it was a prominent question on US coverage and each guy talked about it setting the tone for what they were there to do and how hard they were going to play the game in a hostile environment.

Dude...

So you're expecting the players to hit eachother and be physical like these were regular season NHL games?

(I don't see that as likely at all)
I didn't think so either, but last night's atmosphere was pretty damn good. It slowed down a bit, but the first 10 minutes of so of the first was playoff hockey in Feb. And I'm here for it.

How could you possibly have read what he said as being serious?

Tkachuks, if you're going to start fights, at least learn to fight. Hagel is not a fighter and even if it looked like a draw, is embarrassing. Bennett likes the rough stuff but is also not really a fighter and Brady barely won

Brady and team USA did win last night

Then who on that team should the Tkachuks have chosen instead?

Team USA wanted it more last night. Cooper failed to adjust his lineup and kept throwing his favourite Tampa boys out there while Bennett and Marchand only got the odd shift here and there. Bennett was creating space every time he was on the ice yet he couldn't get more than 7 mins total ice time
Yeah it was definitely the Tampa lines fault who neutralized the Tkachuk line and gave some key PKs that they lost and not Crosby, MacKinnon, Marner, or Reinhart who did nothing all game and ended with dashes

Many Canadian players will remember the Thatchuk Bros. show. And they will have to answer the bell few times during the remaining of this season.

Yesterdays game needed more Schiefele and Hymans , less Cirelli and Jarvises.

Bad team selection
Disagree. I think Canada actually has a better bottom 6 than USA. Cirelli Hagel Jarvis in your bottom 6 is great. So is TK if they can get him going

And? They still suck at fighting and were mostly non factors the rest of the game.
Sour grapes eh
