I've seen enough to determine that he's a dumb f***. The team has been unprepared to start the game 4/5 games and has overall looked like a passive team chasing the game for majority of the series. It could easily be 4-1 Tampa if not for Vasi sucking and Cernak being hurt.

Terrifying to think about but you’re right. Leafs are finally getting some luck/clutchness this series and it’s likely to be wasted because Keefe couldn’t coach his way out of a paper bag.

I honestly feel Keefe is that guy who behind closed doors is like

" I cant believe im the head coach of the Leafs...I have no clue what im doingggg dude!, but I get free meals and the Gatorade in the vending machine is fuhhhreeeeeee "

" Just let Marner and Matty have whatever they want, and i'll look good no matter what"

"I'll just sit Nylander once in a while to make it seem like im working hahaha"

"Oh Justin Holl is my boyyy. We go way back. Hes a great D man. I have him over for dinner all the time man. We are from the same part of europe in the 1600s, great guy yeah. "

100%. We've shown up ready to play for 60 minutes once in game 2.

Can the boys muster up one more effort like that, and will it be enough now that Vasilevsky is back?

Hope he learns in the next 2 days cause wow hes an idiot.
Hockey gods gifted us 2 wins to be up 3-1. Lucky OT winners served by the gods.

Keefe doesnt change a DAMN THING. NOTHING. Hes a moron.

The gods can place a Victorias secret Model in Lingerie in front of you, bedroom eyes, licking her lips, and asking you where your place is...
Its still up to you to be ready with your CO*K and have a smooth playlist ready with some dim lights.

Keefe does not know how to get this team ready. its been 5 damn years man
At that point the backseat, radio, and cell phone light would have to do.. or a street lamp f*** it at that point

Don't know if I despise Keefe or this core more. If Dubas changed either of them after any of the embarrassing playoff series, we might know which is to be not trusted. Didn't Trotz say he talked to one Canadian team that was interested but it was all dependent on the next few weeks something? I'm convinced Shanahan had talks with Trotz. However the team went on that run of wins and I think Dubas got his way.

Trotz has maintained a home in Nashville since his coaching days there - I doubt he seriously considered anywhere else as long as that was an option. If any Canadian team was an option it was probably Winnipeg given his connections to the city

I believe he specifically said he wanted an original six team and said they'd see what happens over the next few weeks.

Gotta give Keefe props here. He was ridiculed for all the times he went with 7 Dmen down the stretch but whaddya know, 7 Dmen won it for us last night. I've criticized him from time to time in the past but he made the lineup changes I was hoping for (though Gusty was a surprise, I thought the 7th Dman would be Holl) and they worked out well. He also managed the game well I thought and the fact that our skaters were outplayed by TB's skaters isn't his fault, gotta give credit to TB, they played great.

I don't know who's in charge of the PP but they need to get their shit together. Not sure WTF happened to our dominant PP but they've sucked really badly last few games.

Look up "late" in the dictionary and Keefe's picture will be right beside it.

Keefe in this series did make the right adjustments so credit to him there for being adaptable. He is also fortunate that the Leafs managed to win the series despite making those decisions almost too late. Hopefully he's more proactive this next series.

Still dont completely trust his decisions but I'm glad he didn't pull a Babs and stick to his guns just to not give the media/fans any sort of justification.

Keefe is a slow learner. I don't fully trust him yet to get things right in round 2, wouldn't be shocked in the slightest to see him revert back to his trusted lineup.

Hope to be wrong here, but I think that lineup yesterday was a desperation one-off.

Feels like he nearly cost us the series, but I'm glad they pulled through anyways. I wonder how long before he goes back to Holl.

He played him 12 mins the game before he sat him, I really think he is not happy with him.

Liljegren was not great either, but he was much better than Holl at 5v5, so give him some games.

We are winning despite Keefe, not the other way around.

Dubas is a top GM for sure then

Honesy question - whats his trusted lineup? We saw a number of lines in this series, even ignoring the 11/7 situation.
