To not have only one and be flexible from game to game. We have depth. Use it.
8 D played in the series, 13 fwd. Both goalies saw time. Im not even sure what normal lines our for our forwards. Is it the Ontario line? Matthews and Marner? The line we saw on the winner last night?

I get Holl was awful overall, but he did come out and we saw a ton of jugglinf overall

He was overthinking some stuff in the middle of the series (Bunting should have been in game 5). But he absolutely made the right adjustment for game 6 which led to the win.

His handling of Knies this series has also been great.

He does deserve high praise for his handling of Knies. Even if his hand was forced with the Bunting suspension to put him in in the first place, actually playing Knies in positions where he could succeed was smart. And having the confidence in the kid to put him out in overtime when other coaches would've benched him after his turnover led to the tying goal was a ballsy move.

Honesy question - whats his trusted lineup? We saw a number of lines in this series, even ignoring the 11/7 situation.

I should've been more clear, I was mainly referring to Keefe's D lineup. I am expecting him to go back to the same pairings until he's in a position like Game 6 where he needs to make change, this isn't the last of Holl. I really hope I'm wrong though.

Up front I think he'll go back to Matthews/Marner and Tavares/Nylander since we're starting fresh against a new opponent.

Keefe gets second change and he chooses a match up that gets scored on in the first 20 seconds of the period

Everyone has to point their finger in a different direction to find someone to place the blame on, whether it’s Dubas, Shanny, the players, etc. but I believe that coaching is the biggest issue with this team. We’ve got a rookie coach who can’t seem to manage his roster. Everyone says he’s great because of his record but a monkey could honestly have the same record with this team in the regular season.

I hope he is fired this off-season so we can get a veteran coach in his place for our final run with this core.

You have to think the Leafs have one of the best line-ups in the league.
Their regular season record since Babcock was fired has been top 10 correct? Covid year 1 they fell off.
Last two years top 4?
And that comes with the maturity of their stars and signing of Tavares.
Dubas loaded up at the deadline, with players on retention.
This year they won their first playoffs round.

I think they've disappointed.

So while Dubas is ultimately responsible, the blame has to go somewhere.

With regards to on-ice, actual game results you can chose one of the following:
Players
Coach

I'm going with coach.

His tactics and handling of the lines during a game are appalling.

Everyone blames the coach after a loss but this was obvious during the Tampa wins too.

HF Leafs hit the nail on the head with this poll result.

Wow, it seems like only yesterday this guy was almost unanimously touted as the fix to everything that was wrong with the team....

Time flies.

He should be fired tomorrow for not switching Nylander with Matthews.

We'll take a filler coach for game 4 with more success.

I can just copy-paste my post at this point.

He has to be one of the worst playoff coaches of all time.

It was a clear disaster when he started doing the 11-7 thing and completely lost the plot after the deadline ruining everyone's chemistry. He gets away with it in the regular season and then gets brutally exposed with no answers when his core chokes.

Firing Keefe isn't going to magically make this core want to win. Sorry to ruin next for you.

Keefe is gone this summer, pending a miracle come back. Even then, likely gone.

If they do come back, its because the players rally around each others voice, not Keefes.

WHY THE FUK DID HE NOT PUT NYLANDER ON THE FIRST POWERPLAY UNIT WHEN HE WAS RED HOT AND THE POWERPLAY UNIT WAS VERY INEFFECTIVE.

Am I crazy or was this a serious blunder? Who cares about 2 balanced units put Nylander on the first unit over ROR and play them 90 seconds. What the fuk Keefe. It baffles me why he didn’t make this change this game especially when the powerplay has sucked.
