I think the Rangers make some moves to bolster their depth at the deadline, and then move up and make the playoffs. I also still think we go on a run and make it out of the east

Is this performance art? I will take the bet if you're serious!

I am serious. I have watched about 80% of the Rangers games in the past 2 years and nobody in a 7 game series scares me. If Staal comes back we have the best defense,we have the best goaltender and Nash can hold his own against anybody.

Maybe if we get a good return for Gaborik and Richards before the trade dead line.

I dont think so. The kings made some great moves during the trade deadline that helped. they also made a coaching change mid-season that turned their season around

The Kings changed coaches. Don't think the Rangers are willing to do that.

That's not my point. Even after the changes, they were still struggling to be themselves during the regular season. They couldn't score like the Rangers now can't score. They were struggling Cup contenders as we are now. Then when the playoffs came around, it all fell into place for the Kings. I can see it happening with the Rangers this year.

Besides, it's a shortened season. Who knows what it all could've been with a full camp and full season.

I wouldn,t want to play the Rangers in the first round if I were the Bruins or the Canadiens.

10-8-1 in their last 19 could get them in. The 2 next games should be in the W column if they want to make the playoffs. From: @Aportzline

Based on avg point totals since NHL became a 30-team league in 2000, it will take 53 points to make playoffs in East, 55 in West. #prorated

6th seed and we'll play Carolina. I honestly think as long as we don't have to face Montreal, we will make it out of the east.

Would probably be Winnipeg, IMO. And since the division is looking out of reach, I think #6 is the next best option, which is a testament to how flawed the current system is.
