Has he ever posted a 4th of July message before?

I wish.

I'd say the likelihood is around 90% that he's going to be the next Germany -coach.

That said i hope they win the Euro's so that wouldn't be a sure thing before WC.

Klopp is a pipe dream IMO but I completely agree with his assessment of the players’ lack of drive and competitiveness.
Which is probably due to the face that they thought Gregg (should have been red flag number one, terrible way to spell that name with two G’s) was a lame duck coach after the WC. The players were ready to welcome in a new coach and new staff, only to find out the USSF wasted money on a coaching search firm and hired the same f***ing guy over again. The players are sick of listening to this guy and it’s an embarrassment on the federation that they aren’t still playing in a tourney they are hosting.

I hear you but Howard pointed to very similar situations when he was a player and the coach was less than great and the players took it upon themselves to figure it out and make adjustments and get the job done and that is what should have happened here. Basically, he put it more on the players.

I’m not in any way a Berhalter fan but if this group of players needs their coach to turn on their competitiveness and inspire them to win their individual battles and fight for the shirt then I’m going to temper my expectations significantly regardless of who the coach is.

The big bosses of football are killing this beautiful game. I would even say they already killed this game

The players are gassed after a long season with a lot of games.

I hope Spain will win this tournament since they it is the only team that play watchable football during this EURO

Just amazing the amount of choking in these penalties…(Copa and Euros)…..pressure must be insane….
There's a new book on it that just came out in the last month or so. No reviews yet but may still give it a look.

Colorado Rapids midfielder Djordje Mihailovic, FC Cincinnati defender Miles Robinson and Nashville defender Walker Zimmerman headline the 18-player roster for the United States men's Olympic team named on Monday by manager Marko Mitrović.

The men's Olympic soccer tournament is restricted to players under the age of 23, but does allow for three "overage" players. Mihailovic, Robinson, and Zimmerman will fill each of those spots. The remainder of the roster is comprised of players born on or after Jan. 1, 2001.

Problem is, they haven't fired him yet...

Never bet against a US Soccer own goal. It's too insular and cliquish, development is stymied behind a system that costs to much for prospective players and is dependent mostly on talent identified in-system. The local qualified soccer travel leagues cost more than the local ice hockey travel leagues... explain that! The entire US system is borked from the ground up...

I just don’t see how a professional referee is ever trusted again, much less be placed in this situation.

Not even surprised.
Corruption.

Unfortunately you guys do not understand French.
There is a guy named Romain Molina who is the best investigation journalist and he's specialized in sports.
He has only a YT channel because he gets zero attention from the mainstream media.

Some of his works were shared in newspapers like The Guardian, The New York Times few times.
His work has shed light on sexual abuse and paedocriminality in the sporting world, in France, Haiti and many other countries.
The last one about sexual abuse on minors in Guinea. After his work the Guinean federation suspended 4 coaches.

You can go here and google translate some of his posts

If you think Biden, Putin and Xi are ruling the world you are wrong. They're just like kids in the kindergarten comparing to FIFA, UEFA, CONCACAF, CONMEBOL, IOC s main people.

I bought today his last book about the IOC
Got also the previous 2 about the FIFA, France, Macron, Africa "Industry of Football 1" and "2"
I discovered him few years ago with his book called La Mano Negra about the agents in the Football world.
