US going to have to run up the score vs Iran when the time comes just to keep up with England in goals.

US should also have the advantage of knowing they have to REALLY press for max goals vs Wales today. If they can

So I just looked at the schedule, is 4 games in three days normal for the first round? Seems drawn out IMO
Well when it’s only “safe” to go outside when it’s below 110….lol…. ;)

no Idea if this is elongated or what….as compared to past WCs.

Iran getting whooped….pour it on England.

The Iranian men did not sing their national anthem in support of the protests back at home which caused some of their fans to boo and now they’re getting boat raced. That locker room is not a fun place to be right now.

Fine by me,w ater the group down

If they beat or even get points over Wales and England we should be fine. Iran was supposed to be good.

Ever since the NFT market crashed I've been having a hard time figuring out the next way to scam people out of money. Maybe I'll try selling health insurance next.

Either way I have a lot of free time lately so I will be officially on the Team USA Bandwagon!

It took years but I do believe Gregg has saved his best possible starting lineup for the right moment. No Long, most importantly, but having Gio and Aaronson come off the bench fresh ready to run at tired defenders is terrific. Will be interesting to see if they have enough creativity in the midfield to open up a Wales team that’s going to sit back and defend and look to hit on the counter. Let’s get it!!

So friends tell me who to look out for on the United States Football Squadron. Who are the difference makers?

More importantly what stats should I be looking for? I know they track possession time and passes, but what else is typically looked at as important? Besides the simple goals and assists of course.

Dest, Mckinnie, Robinson, Pulisic, Weah, Reyna, Aaronson…..difference-makers….Sargent if we’re rolling.

please chart xDives/60, Feigned mortal wounds, and the number of camera shots of bouncing female fans in the crowd?

Up front on attack, Christian Pulisic (Chelsea) and Gio Reyna (Borussia Dortmund) are their best attcking weapons with the ability to unlock the defense. Reyna is kind of like Kuznetsov, he sees things others can’t and is a terrific distributor. Pulisic is kind of like Vrana — he is a speed dribbler with a good shot not afraid to take defenders on one-on-one. Josh Sargent (Norwich City) is a bigger target up top at the striker position. He is best in link up play, kind of like Mantha. Tim Weah (Lille) likes to press and can create offensively as well.

In the midfield, Tyler Adams (Leeds) is your box to box midfielder. He’s the captain and will be the link between the back line and the offense. He’s kind of like Backstrom. Weston McKennie (Juventus) is a bulldog who will run people over in attack and in the air — think of him like Tom Wilson. Yunas Musah (Valencia) is a rising star and can slalom through the midfield. He may end up being the best player from this generation when all is said and done.

There’s a ton of speed at the fullback positions with Jedi Robinson (Fulham) and Sergino Dest (Barcelona, AC Milan). Both guys like to get forward and make things happen. Dest is capable of the spectacular — google his goal in qualifying against Costa Rica.

They have the talent to make noise and their group is difficult but manageable. Go get the f***ing thing done.
