I don’t think the goal is to have typical 2nd liners if you want to win a Stanley cup. I think he’s good enough to play in the top 6 I just don’t think he’s good enough to be one of a contending teams top 6 forwards. I also don’t see his production getting a whole lot better than it is right now and that’s fine because he’s an effective player and 20 goal scorers are valuable.

Last complete season (18-19), 121 forwards scored 20+ goals. 76 forwards scored 25+ goals. There are no 3rd liners scoring at the pace Sharangovich is on right now, whether he would keep it up over 82 games is debatable, but he's scoring at a top 6 forward rate.
