And Parayko over Dougie too ? I guess it helps if the GM helping pick is the GM of your NHL team too …. Oh well. Let’s Dougie rest up and hopefully inspires / pisses him off and plays even better because he was snubbed .

So much of Dougie's value this year is coming on the PP. He's not taking the PP1 role from Makar. Parayko's still an elite shutdown guy. The Dougie "snub" makes sense. I 100% would've taken a guy like Weegar over Sanheim. Pretty comparable offensively, Weegar's drastically better defensively. Weegar's also a righty that plays the left side. Weegar's like the perfect extra D in a tournament like this

Thank you for speaking the truth. I don't give a single f*** about the Olympics. I really don't care about mens best on best in general. I will watch the f*** out of the WJC and really enjoy the U18s but international hockey at the mens level doesn't do it for me.

Dimitri brought up a CRAZY stat that was pointed out to him on the latest PDOCast. In the 10 games since we went down to Florida, Jack at all situations has been on the ice for TWENTY GOALS FOR and ZERO GOALS AGAINST. 515 guys have played 100 minutes in that span and Jack is the ONLY player to be on for 0 GAs.

Over the past 14 it's 28-2 for him

Actually a slight advantage for us because we’re home first. Canes are in Nashville before Christmas, then in NJ after. Devils are home before and after the holiday, then both teams have to fly down to Carolina.
