LOVE this. With Meier in bumper, it gives Jack 3 legitimate dangerous options. Shoot, pass to middle, or pass across. Other teams won't know what to do. This is on the level of Tampa's 1st pp with Stamkos, Kucherov, and Point.

He's most likely there for the faceoffs, which honestly makes no sense considering it's 2nd pp....I'd rather Luke over him when he joins the team.

Was it discussed what people thought of Severson's comments about the Bratt/Meier contract situation? Believe it was Novozinski that had the quotes

Makes me a little nervous that Bratt has mentioned talks being tough. Seems odd for Damon to come out and say that if Bratt hasn't discussed this with him before.

Also feels weird hearing Damon say we have to keep both of them when.. well.. unfortunately idt Damon will be around after this year.

I don't like the move from Severson. Its not smart and can't make positive effect on collective.

It’s definitely weird. I din’t think there’s a whole lot to it, but Severson is gone regardless, so I don’t really care about his comments, if Bratt wants to stick around he will. If Severson doesn’t understand that we have to keep building the team and not wait on Bratt continually then he doesn’t understand what it’s like to manage a team.

Maybe not until next season but Meier with Hischier and Bratt with Hughes seems like the best combos to keep our shot totals up

That was the general consensus among this board last night that Rango would be the scratch for Timo

And we looked to have nailed that one

This is why I don't pay much attention to interviews from playerson those subjects, as the answers are always as generic as the questions.

I still like Rango and think he could have scored more this season if he was used differently. And I think he’s been good for the PK.

I would've said "No he actually sucks." in a deadpan, sarcastic voice.....to make them understand what a dumb question that was. lol

After those two quotes there isnt anyththing mentioning it being a joke. So unless Im missing the mark here that seems like Damon's personal thoughts, which is fine hes his good friend and wants him to get paid. Just makes you wonder what they've discussed

IIRC the visiting locker room is actually in a separate building so the players actually have to walk outside briefly to get between it and the arena.
