That was from the same article where Damon said his joke about it being the last dinner they'll have together.

I know this because I have a sub to NJ.com so I see the entire article.

I thought this was a new statement that you put up.

Nothing to see here, folks.
But I dont understand. What he says there seems pretty genuine.

Since its in the same article as a joke it cant be he meant it? Im not sure I get what you mean

After those two quotes there isnt anyththing mentioning it being a joke. So unless Im missing the mark here that seems like Damon's personal thoughts, which is fine hes his good friend and wants him to get paid. Just makes you wonder what they've discussed

Very happy, and a bit surprised, that so far they actually did just swap out Yegor for Meier. The other 3 lines seem to be clicking well, hopefully adding Meier next to Jack & Bratt can take them up a notch too though there may be a bit of an adjustment period.

It's Timo Time baby

I don’t think there could have been a much more obvious decision especially with how the game ended. It was almost certainly between Boqvist and Sharangovich.

One of them started going crazy, set up the tying goal and was getting shifts and doing really well on OT. The other got sat in the third when we were trying to come back and was basically irrelevant all game as he has been far too often. Made it a pretty easy decision.

Plus Boqvist brings more speed and skill to that 3rd line alongside Palat and Haula than Sharangovich.

I go by what Fitz recently stated in terms of contract negotiations or whatever.

This was made during a dinner a week(or so) before we got to this point.

I'm not sweating anything here.

A deal will be done.

(stop it with the doom and gloom implying that it won't)

Totally agreed, it seemed almost too obvious which is why I thought they might not do it lol

Ah okay thats fair, I didnt have the date of when they were posted so that bit of context makes it slightly less interesting. Thanks for that

I do though feel bad for Damon if we dont keep him - he clearly wants to stay and has made great friends here. Will be tough but I think its for the best
