How the **** did we end up this schedule:

11th: Canadiens
---- Playoff Simulation Begins ----
12th: Carolina
14th: Lightning
16th: Lightning
18th: Panthers
19th: Lightning
---- Playoff Simulation Ends ----

Not only is that 6 games in exactly 8 days, but over half of them are against top-5 teams. On one hand I'm annoyed, but on the other hand this could be a little bit "experience" our young team needs heading into their first post season.

Well, it's been 60 games. We were bound to start playing good teams at some point.

Who is the goalie either throwing up, having a life crisis or getting a back procedure? Lmao

Nothing makes me happier than seeing other fanbases discount our chance to make noise.

I like Zadarov too and when we played them he played against our speed pretty good and was very physical with us....I know Athanasiou has speed but does he play a physical game haven't seen him play much?....Wish Graves and Ham would use their size but that's never been Dougies game....Siegs is most physical out of the three imo...
Zadorov is better than Bahl, but he isn't really good positionally. He is physical, but has issues with some defensive iq. As third line defenseman he is better than what we have now, but as second pair D I prefer Graves.

I was thinking about this the other day as Sharangovich has had an up and down season and Devils likely may not want to sign him to his next deal.

If Anaheim offers Henrique at 50% retained (2.8 million this year and next) for Sharangovich straight up, would you do that deal?

Effectively swaps out Henrique for Sharangovich on this roster as they would play a similar role. Henrique should also be cheaper next year if there’s 50% retention.

Not really sold on Henrique given his age. Much rather try to swing a similar trade for Yakov Trenin, who's cheaper, more physical and younger which opens up the option of an extension down the line. If that's not on the table I'd rather just stand pat.

He was pretty awesome on the Blues run in 2019, not sure why Armstrong made all those bone headed moves on the backend between trading and signing Faulk, signing Krug which essentially made Pietro go to Vegas. I wanted him a ton but Graves is pretty good too for what they were building on the back end.

Not sure why there are a lot of media outlets and people assuming that we will play the Rags in the first round ?
We are 1 point out of first in the Metro . And the Canes are having some trouble scoring plus habe a brutal stretch of games coming up against the Leafs, Rangers, Bruins.
I think it is very realistic that we can win the Metro. We are playing excellent hockey right now and Meier has yet to play a game.
It will be very interesting to see if / what we add before the TDL.
We have seen some teams go crazy by paying tons of assets for a run . Why dont we step it up another notch and try to add another good piece ? I’d love Bertuzzi… if only he was not just a rental. Somehow id like to add an upgrade on our 3rd line but not sure who. I dont think Henrique is the right move. Too much of a cap hit and too costly if Ducks retain. Ideally I’d like to use Sharanhovich as the oiece we move out . He has value , amd we honestly dont have a roster spot for him that makes sense . He is nkt really a good fit in the bottom 6 amd no room I’m the top 6. He is too inconsistent to be a top 6 option and I,habe seen him shy away from contract too many times where he doesn’t take a hit to make a play. I love the kid but I,just, don’t see him in our future plans.
I want to see is trade for Vjmelka (MB plus small addition? ) and a player in the mold of Bertuzzi .
