Opened NHL.com to see a huge picture of Timo and thought it was happening.
f***ing jerks.
f***ing jerks.
I've been burned by these advanced stats plenty of times before (including by members of this board that were arguing that the 2013-14 Devils were an elite team due to great CORSI and would be good the next year). Bratt should not have a substantially higher defensive WAR than Hischier.
Look, I don't want to go on a bender saying Bratt is not worth re-signing. If I had to pick between him and Meier, I would rather keep Bratt as he is homegrown. I would rather have Bratt than signing Johnny Hockey to his deal. Just saying that his agent is going to point to stats like this one to try to get 9M+ and I hope Fitz negotiates.
especially since its him playing against us for the photo..Opened NHL.com to see a huge picture of Timo and thought it was happening.

No, Carolina hasn't traded for him yet.Opened NHL.com to see a huge picture of Timo and thought it was happening.

Bottom 6 needs juice. I’d like a defensively responsible energy forward for the 4th line. Wood is just not good enough. I hate when they try to match with that line against skilled lines. McLeod and Bastian can hold their own, but Wood doesn’t have a clue. So, where do we all stand on this team and how they’re performing?
On one hand, they are winning. A lot. On the other hand, I think we can all agree they are not playing a very inspiring brand of hockey at the moment.
I am thrilled where this team is at. They have blown past my expectations and are positioned wonderfully. But, with the arrival of this team, comes increased expectations
and there‘s clearly a lot that can be improved upon.

He would’ve been a good add but you just knew Lou would buy. I’ll bang the Yakov Trenin drum. I willed Marino here, let’s see if I can do it again.
Lou ain't selling this year though
Yeah I know, good ol’ Lou lol. I would’ve liked Zach back for one last hoorah. He would’ve been a good add but you just knew Lou would buy. I’ll bang the Yakov Trenin drum. I willed Marino here, let’s see if I can do it again.
Don't think he'd be in the bottom sixRico wouldn't be the worst choice to help the bottom 6
I knew it wasn't just because the headline wasn't "A Devil of a Deal", which you pretty much know it will be if it happens.Opened NHL.com to see a huge picture of Timo and thought it was happening.

How do we feel about a Vrana trade if Yzerman is doing a change of scenery trade or an option in the summer for cheap when Detroit buys him out if these rumors about him playing his last game as a Wing is true.
I still want to give Holtz a real shot with Hughes and maybe put him in Z's spot and sit Wood for Zetterlund.A little annoyed. Hopefully the defense improves with Marino back. Can lean less on the top pair (and everyone else) and move Severson away from Graves.
Bottom 6 needs an injection of some sort. Will help with a top 6 add and moving somebody down. I don't see a fit for Wood on this team anymore. 4th line has been bad for a while and I think he is the biggest reason why.
