Kind of strange Boqvist can't get in. He was actually playing his best hockey. Plus Blackwood being in net HAS to be a showcase right? It's not a back to back... the team just doesn't show up for Blackwood.

They're not showcasing Blackwood - Ruff just doesn't like him to sit for a long time and it's been 2 weeks now since he last played.

He really doesn't do a very good job of showing up for them either......

Not that I think he doesn't show up, I think it just might have something to do with the fact that he just SUCKS as an NHL goalie.

It seems a distinct possibility when you look at his last 70 games and how his performance this year is identical to his last 70 games overall. Then he look at his AHL career and it really starts to make a lot of sense.

There's not many back to backs left this year, so I would expect to see him more than just then.

Maybe they'll throw him in there against Columbus, because if you can't play well against them then get the f*** on waivers.

There should be no reason to really have to start him more than 8 more times including tonight? Maybe 10 max?

The quicker we get to 90 points then maybe you could start giving him some more games, but he's done a great job of tanking points/wins for us this year. Especially when you see what the other 2 goalies that have played here this year have done.

It feels like if you really want him to have a good game then you almost definitely need to allow few shots. Like the Islanders game earlier in the year. He unravels when facing a lot of shots, which is weird because most goalies play better when facing a lot of shots. Once he starts facing a lot of shots it seems to go from 2 goals on 23 shots to 5 goals on 35 shots.

Really needs to be a focus for Jack this offseason, unless we're going to staple a good FO guy to his line.

Christ 33% is rough. I still don’t really care but it’s be easier to not care if he was at least above 40%

He didn’t actually practice it turned out. He came out for the pre-practice skate and, I assume, realized he shouldn’t try to play through whatever he was feeling.
