Yeah, nothing can be done by the Devils until they actually speak to Brunette. Someone mentioned that he wouldn't have gotten this job if he was an alcoholic, Devils do a decent job vetting people for positions.

Yeah I don’t but the whole Panthers must have known something angle, think there would have been smoke about that. Besides not like they made some home run hire themselves lol.

We need a photoshop of Lindy Ruff as Tom Cruise in cocktail.

Yeah right a bunch of people from New Jersey of all places ragging on a guy doing 58 in a 40 and 27 in a 15. Give me a f***ing break. We've all driven a car before, right? Who the f*** has a 15 mph speed limit that isn't a parking lot or a child's go-kart track?

(The DUI is serious, though, but you don't have to be an alcoholic to get a DUI, just someone who made a really dumb decision.)

i love how we're talking about DUI specifics and speed limits in the state of Florida lol

this mid-season break is just a snippet of what we're like post-draft in summer

Without knowing the details I can't say, but Devils need to look into it, and then go a little heavy as to what type of program he goes into.

I think the organization should be supportive, but they also can't put a potential issue behind our players. They need to make he is good, before he is on the bench again.

I would think the staff probably has some idea if there's a problem with Brunette and drinking. I'm sure the coaches and training staff are getting together for dinners and drinks at the bar on road trips and other coaches would likely see if he likes to over indulge. Of course, doing that and getting behind the wheel are two different things, but if this is part of a larger issue there were probably some signs.

Fitz will surely talk to the other members of the coaching and training staff to see if they've seen any issues with Brunette and alcohol. Wouldn't be surprised if he talked to Bill Zito as well. And obviously a long, uncomfortable conversation with Brunette.

Without knowing more details, it's hard to say what should happen. From the little we know now, I don't think he needs to go away indefinitely for treatment - maybe just some counseling. I'm sure there's pressure on Fitz though to show that they're taking this seriously (which I believe they would be regardless) and that may have to entail Brunette not being behind the bench for some time - perhaps in part due to public pressure.

For those who don’t know, in some areas in Florida, you rent golf carts to get around smaller areas. My grandparents used to own a condo in Boca Grande and you’d take the golf cart into town there all the time.

The story is amusing you have to admit  glad there wasn’t anyone in danger thankfully.

If they hadn't already reported that it was in Broward County, I would have bet anything that a golf cart DUI had to be in The Villages.
The bar is across the street from a beachside hotel (where I presume the couple are staying at). This is nothing
