is that what you think Luke is

No. Replacement players play at a replacement level. Its just very easy to get replacement level powerplay/offense guys on the left side.

RHD and defensive LHD are valued much higher and are not always available.

Ok, but what the Devils need on the left side if they move Hughes to forward isn't "replacement level PP/offense guy" it's "excellent defenseman"

Didn't see that you were responding to some silly idea of moving Luke to forward. Thats dumb. I figured you meant Luke gets injured.

I could see 21-21-18 as the minutes split for the pairings
I have a feeling we'll see Dillon used a little more situationally...I could imagine him being moved up and down the pairs on the left side with some regularity....playing a little bit with every RHD this season.

Off topic question.
As I remember Woodcroft wasn’t signed by any team? Would be good if Fitz will sign him as a PP coach. Brunette was signed as a Devils associated coach at 13 July. Today is july 15.
Even if it would be for one year only.

I'm guessing that is the role that Jeremy Colliton was ultimately hired for since the rest of the existing staff was retained in McGill, Taylor, Sarge and Rogalski.

Very good article saying what I have been trying to say. We are getting better:

Now it is time for these changes to produce at a level of what Fitz has been building and delivering for this upcoming season.

Let's Go Devils

This is our season '24-'25.

It's gonna be fairly even 5v5.

I expect Luke to get the most minutes (driven by PP time), then Pesce (driven by PK time), then Hamilton, then Nemec, then Dillon (driven by PK time), then Siegenthaler

There are 550 or so minutes of PK time from Bahl, Marino, and Smith that need to be absorbed.
