I have a massive sized dish . I’m close to 7 3/4 … its like Stewie off of Family guy shaped . Like a football that is pointed horizontally.
The ONLY hats that somewhat look “okay” on me are New Era fitted baseball ones that are S/M/L sized instead of in inches . The profit baseball hats sized in inches look absolutely stupid on me . It pisses me off as I’d love to be able to wear one. I had one that was very old and broken in perfectly , it was the only way it looked somewhat close to normal on me , hat was at least 10 years old and was washed so much it eventually just fell apart

Big noggin? I was 7 3/4 in fitted hats. Now I'm down to 7 1/2. Losing head weight!
That sounds extremely american for some reason.

I'm 7-7/8, also known as XXXL apparently.

I don't think think it's out of proportion though. I'm a 6'4 guy. I wonder how all these over-sized athletes find caps that fit them.

Can you guys outline scenarios where the Devils get into the playoffs next season? What has to go right for the Devils and what has to happen to the division/conference, etc? Do Pitt, Wash and Boston all have to fall of a cliff for this to even be a possibility?

If they win a lot of games they can make the playoffs, they won't if they don't.

People too focused on other teams. Let's see this team have a 92+ point season first. If the Devils are a 96 point team they will be taking those points from somewhere that they didn't a year ago

Well yeah. But what do you think it would take to get to that point level. How many additional points is a 910 team save percentage and a healthy Jack Hughes worth?

Washington and Boston failed to make the playoffs, Jack, Hamilton, and Nico are healthy for a full season. Slightly above average goaltending, way better defensive structure, and a competent PP.

I think a number of teams in the east have improved quite a bit, so the gap between playoff teams and non-playoff teams shouldn't be as big as it was last year.

We need to have average or better goaltending, a much better powerplay, and our key guys to stay healthy. That gives us a chance at the playoffs IMO.

Vanecek/Blackwood duo isn't worser than Vanecek/Samsonov. Devils aren't as good offensively, but they were pretty good 5 on 5, may be healthy Dougie, healthy Jack and Brunette can add results in pp. Defense isn't worser than what wsh have.
I think if Vanecek, Blackwood, Jack, Dougie and Nico will play 70 games each, this team can fight for the play off spot.

Just spitballing some random questions since its a boring offseason day. Who think Hughes sets the Devils point record next year and breaks 100 points?
I think he has a terrific shot at both. IF HE STAYS HEALTHY.

I think a better sign for this team going forward would be getting 82 games out of two of our top 5 players. If three make it, that's great. If four make it, we are in the playoffs.

If he plays close to 80 games he definitely can.

Idk if next year is the year he cracks 100, but I feel pretty confident that within 3 years he will be a 100 point player.

Honestly, I'm kind of ready for Brunette to take over.

Unfortunately, we've gotten ourselves into at least somewhat of a hole in the event that Brunette takes over this year.

Hoping he naturally takes the reigns and starts steering the ship in regards to X’s and O’s.

While Ruff seams really good at managing relationships and different personalities. (Some reports out of Florida suggest Brunette wasn’t as good at that aspect of coaching)

Could be a great combination, and a good education for both.

I’m going to take shit for this one, but I think both he and Nico could break a hundo if both healthy and play 75+. Come @ me lol
I’ll have whatever you’re smoking on!

Honestly tho, Nico has had some rough luck, and is probably closer to the player he was in the second half of last year, then the guy who can’t break 60.

I’d be thrilled to see him hit ppg, but can’t imagine him breaking 100. I’d love to see it tho.
