I can’t help but laugh at the hair comments.

I really need to stop laughing at all these balding guys, especially when my hair has definitely receded a bit in the last 10-20 years. I remember laughing at Hynes (dude is so bald, he hardly looks like he even grows eyebrows) and MacLean and even DeBoer (still has a bit of hair left compared to those guys) and I feel like mine has went back and inch every year in my 40’s, which it probably hasn’t been that much.

To be expected at my age, but still not to the point of my dad’s or maternal grandfather and uncle’s by the time they were frickin 30.

I feel like if I keep laughing at these balding guys, there will be hardly any hair left for me in 10 years from now.

Both Laine and Matthews (you could see it coming in their draft years) seem to be losing more and more by the day. Laine just started doing the Hiney Head thing last week.

I remember thinking in 2012 that Drew Doughty’s would be just about gone in 10 years, but it hasn’t gone back much further.

More deep into off-season talk. Head sizes and hairlines.

Don't worry, I'm 38 and already shave my head because of how much my hair has thinned and receded in recent years. It's actually kind of nice to just shave it every couple days and not have to worry about it though. I joke that I haven't really lost it so much as it's migrated. When I had it on my head I shaved my face. Now that it's not on my head I have a beard.

I can't pull off the shaved head very well. I usually do shave my head to a zero, other than the top. I leave some on the top (as low as I can go without having to use the buzzer on it) and that looks good on me. I've messed up before and had to wind up shaving the entire thing and it made me (very mildly) depressed and I pretty much wore a hat all the time for about a month until it started growing in.

If it ever got really bad I'd either start wearing a hat all the time, which I really don't wanna do because it gets too hot down here and a hat is uncomfortable. Sometimes when I take too long to cut my hair I wind up putting a hat on and it's miserable with how hot it is.

Or I'd just do a mohawk. I don't ever anticipate losing enough hair that I can't do a mohawk. It's only just slightly receded and more on the right side than left. And it's still insanely thick in most places, other than a bit on that right side. And it grows way too quick. Almost every man seems to recede just a little bit by their 30's and some even quite a bit younger than that. Some guys it just does it a couple inches and stops and others it keeps happening until it's all gone.

One guy in particular that really shocked me is Batista. Looking back at him from the Evolution days he didn't look like he was gonna have any problems with his hair. Then he started shaving it a couple years later, which I thought was maybe just because he liked it like that. Some guys (Vin Diesel) just shave their head to shave it because they like the look and not because they're losing their hair. Then I remember seeing him a few years ago when he let his hair grow in enough that it was more than stubbly and I said ''What the f*** happened to this guy's hair man?''. The guy looked like he had a nice, thick, full head of hair with no signs of receding at like 36 and before he was even 50 it was significantly gone.

I had a dream my best friend broke into my house to steal a garbage bag full of Canadian cash and I caught him and choked him out and killed him and had to call the police.

At least I know why this dream happened. My best friend literally the only person friend or family that didn't wish me a happy birthday yesterday. I'm going to Montreal tomorrow for the weekend and just picked up an envelope of Canadian cash from the bank.


Edit: My friend literally called me right after I posted this. I apologized for killing him. He apologized for being a day late because like me, he also doesn't remember anyone's birthdays.

I didn't even realize that was him, as he appears to be considerably heavier than the last time I watched one of his videos, which was probably 4-5 years ago.

I actually forgot he existed, until my friend mentioned watching his videos a couple years ago.

I got into a phase where I started watching mukbangers on youtube about 6 years ago and came across him from someone else I watched.

I kind of got tired (more like hungry) of watching all these videos of people eating food, as it always made me hungry.

Haha I am someone that never remembers their dreams. Maybe like 1 every few months I'll actually remember when I wake up. This one was so vivid and easily tied to everything going on in my life. Was just weird.

I don’t remember ever dreaming about the Devils, I’m starting to feel like a lesser fan here.

Or killing friends. Killed a lot of zombies in my dreams though, a shocking amount really, I typically have amazing headshot capabilities in those dreams.

Has there been any news or rumours floating around about ZAR possibly signing with us or as a PTO at camp? We might be a few days away from making those announcements ? I can’t remember what time of the off season teams usually announce who is invited to camps as tryouts.
I can’t see us having a bunch of tryouts like last year as we almost have too many forwards as it is. We could use a C or two for Utica though.
As it stands right now , is Boqvist able to be sent to Utica without having to go through waivers? I think he has a handful of games left he can play in the NHL until he requires waivers ? Will be interesting to see how the forward roster fills out. I’d like to give players like Foote and Thompson a try but it’s hard when we are trying to push for a wild card spot. Can’t have multiple spots in the roster for kids seeing if they are NHL material or not

I remember there was that one day ZAR was skating at Prudential Center then we never heard about it again. Wonder if there's anything there. Given the way Fitz has done things I def expect him to bring in a few PTOs.

I mean he's right, if you are talking about overall skill level. But it's hard to imagine Haula choosing not to play to his ceiling as often as Zacha seemed to.

I fully expect Zacha to make a lot Devil's fans angry the first month or two of the season and then Boston fans angry for the rest.

Odd question but who the hell is the player on the bench to the left of Zacha ? Only one in the picture with his face showing .. I thought I knew what each player looked like but I have no idea on this one.
