I heard from a source close to the team the Devils are inviting Ruslan Fedotenko, Tomas Kaberle, and Mike Komisarek to training camp.
Hopefully your time machine back to 2014 hasn't broken down.

Wait a minute.... I actually wouldn't be surprised if at least one of them turns out to be a PTO invite to Islanders camp by Lou.

Seney was actually a highly surprisingly bad player, who even more highly surprisingly played 53 games in the NHL here, including 51 in 18-19 season.

I seem to remember him being about as bad or even worse than the 16-17 version of Miles Wood, minus the insane speed and much less talented.

I haven't looked in a while, but I remember the underlying numbers for him in 18-19 were some of the worst I had seen around the league during that season.

I wanna say at least half of his goals were empty netters, but I think that was Joey Anderson, who wasn't nearly as bad at the NHL level as Seney.

There was one poster that was so in love with him, it had to be either the player himself of a very close friend or family member. Someone who actually has love for him in real life. The poster shredded the AHL head coach Dennehy for not playing him enough and cost him more points in the AHL for Binghamton. The poster has noticeably turned into a ghost on here since Seney's departure from the organization.

Quest for Stanley, his last post before Seney departed was "I'm a Devil's fan first." Then he had one more after that taking a dig at Dennehy and then gone forever.

Yes there was a massive Seney supporter on here that was convinced that Seney could be a top 6 forward on the Devils if only given the opportunity. I thought Seney was leading the AHL team in points nearly half way through a season … he did get a couple of call ups as a result Njt necer amounted to anything. He was one of those players that if he isn’t producing l he provides absolutely nothing else to the table. He was top 6 or bust / useless type player. He didn’t have the size , skill, ability to adapt and play a bottom 6 role so he was useless.

Yes, that was him. I knew his name on here, but just didn't bother to specifically post it.

Due to his love for Seney, I would constantly read his name ''Quest for Seney'' and would often time forget the last word in his name was Stanley and not actually Seney.

He was pretty much a bottomless crater and an overly-bloated and heavily water drenched 156 pounds.

And when I say ''Overly-bloated'' this has nothing to do with his actual size or appearance. Just a metaphor for him being a VERY HEAVY piece of DEADWEIGHT, despite only being 156 pounds, which has to be near the lightest weight in the league among players. Even the players that only looked like they weighed 150-something pounds (Tedenby LOL) were billed as weighing in the 170's. Seney was actually billed as being just 156.

And his offense was never anywhere near good enough to be able to score at a top-6 rate. He was already 22-23 years old when he first started getting NHL call ups and hasn't really received many more since that year.

Seney turned into a classic AHL tweener, he was the points leader on the Marlies last season and 475k minimum guaranteed salary on his two-way deal with Chicago.

It’s not a shocker considering his size, though players’ weights are often not updated so who knows what he weighs. (Unless Seney, at age 26, weighs exactly same as what was listed for the 2015 draft when he was 19.)

I always thought Seney had that triangular alien face. Maybe it’s just me?
I remember at the time he was playing here I seemed to think he looked like he could be the son of some other hockey personality, and now I just can't think of who it was that I said.

He kind of looks a little like he could be Kevin Dineen's son in this picture. Not Kevin Dineen's actual son (I don't know what he looks like, but I know he had a son that played and was drafted) but like he could be a son of Kevin Dineen.

But I know that wasn't the name I said at that time. I can't think of who it was. It might never come to me.

Dunno about triangular, but I always thought Rafalski looked like a space alien.
I never really thought that about him, but back to the hair topic again.

I don't even know if I realized Brian Rafalski was losing his hair until after he was already on Detroit. He had that really fine light-ish hair color and I hardly ever saw him without his helmet on when he was out on the ice or on the bench. And then I saw a player head shot of him and was like ''Holy shit, I didn't realize Raffi pretty much lost all of his hair''.

on his 'recch-a-sketch' toy no doubt
I read this as 'wreck-a-sketch' and found it amusing because of how he likely ruined every play he ever drew up for us

I was excited for him too. Thought hed be really good for Jack and Bratt. Maybe he was and we just dont know it, but Id credit most of that to Ruff.

But Im not in the locker room so its all a guessing game really
