If you listen to his exit interview it's obvious he's waiting to see the results of this season. So if he signs it's not going to he until later on when he has an idea of how competitive we are & that's only if we take the next step. He said he likes it here & want's to stay but he made it clear from his quotes he is tired of being on a losing team. I'll read off a few of his quotes & it's obvious what he is thinking. "We're a young team, is no longer acceptable", "The rebuild is over", "We can no longer blame our problems on age, that has to be in the rear view mirror", “Next year if we’re standing here talking this time of year while other teams are gearing up for the playoffs, it would be a huge disappointment.” So yeah for Severson he's basically saying put up or shut up. Either we finally take the next step or I'm out. Which is why I've been so adamant on getting a real coach this year. If we lose Severson next year oh boy that will be another large hole to fill. It's like the cartoon you plug up one water hole just for 2 more to appear. That's why it's very important we must ditch this loser mentality.
Well he better step up himself then. He was part of the problem imo. Don't bitch about losing all the time and then doing nothing about it. And yes, i realize he did much better this past season but idk, still not really enough imo for someone who's going to stay or leave based on how the team does (if that's even true).
