After this year it's more challeging to move him because he's an RFA - with no arb rates he'll still be a bargain, but of course if he doesn't improve massively on this season, he won't be much of one regardless. The time to move him is now, while there's an ELC year left.
Yes, players’ value don’t fluctuate so wildly that “selling low” versus doing whatever keeping him does means as much as letting teams have him on his ELC.

I don’t expect him to be shipped out, the only guy who seems like a sure goner is Zacha. The biggest mystery is Wood and what contract he gets.

Elias not being in the HoF is still bullshit to me.

I missed the first half of their careers, but I question if - over the course of their entire careers, not peak point seasons - guys like Recchi, Andreychuk and Ciccarrelli were truly better than him.
Yeah I don't get it.

What else does Elias have to do to get into the damn Hall?

He's fulfilled EVERY CRITERIA (and then some) there is.

So PUT HIM IN THE GODDAMN HALL, YOU IDIOTS!!

You don't know that. If this season was just a sophomore slump and he continues where he left in his rookie season, his value is gonna multiple by a lot. Everyone is so impatient in these forums. Smith has only had one bad season in his whole career and now you know for sure that that is who he's gonna be from now on.

I rather hold on to prospects and see them fail, than trade them for nothing and see them flourish on another team.

I mean to say, I do not want Ty Smith. Again, that’s not saying Smith is not an NHL player or will not improve aspects of his game. I want to trade Smith in a package this offseason.

so you think wright is gunna be a career 40 point player? oof...I don't think you understand what I'm trying to say here. Cirelli is a depth player, idk why you're even talking about him.
Uhm no? Usually depth players don’t average 18 minutes a game. All I’m saying is if we draft Wright he will get his minutes and opportunities
