These "sources" have not actually named what the package would be at all. The only hint was I think Servelli a week ago saying Holtz would be involved.
Mercer has been just pure HF speculation and the consensus is largely that the only way Calgary gets Mercer is if Noah Hanifin with a contract extension is coming to NJ.

Obviously depends on the price, but I do think Hanifin would be a great fit here. Just turned 27, Size, Skating, plays all situations.
I’ll probably ask this again in the GDT, but is anyone planning some kind of meet up at the game tomorrow?

I don't get Calgary fans thinking it'd be done after the game, Hanifin in tomorrow makes us a better team v the Flyers regardless of how tired he is. The juice of adding him in an outdoor game as your first Devils game would be worth it, not sure why Fitz would wait after. This isn't last year where they were top 3 and could wait for Timo whenever it happened. They need points ASAP

That's a huge trade. I still think it's far more likely it's just not done considering all the parts.
If that's even what we are doing.
If Fitz pulls off that deal, we should tear down Marty’s statue in front of the Rock to make room for the one that really belongs there.
