Sadly Holtz is doomed to be a 4th liner with this coach.

Not bad, but I would switch Hischier with Miller, and Hischier with Smith. And maybe Bahl with Toffolli.

That's another reason Lindy has to go...If they were in talks with Calgary and are offering Holtz it's probably on Lindy......Holtz should not be in on talks for a 35 year old goalie......Hopefully they don't do this but you never know....

I don't want a guy that just turned 34 for a young team in the early part of a window. We'll just have the same problem again, and be weaker for it. Mercer is struggling this year but he scored 27 last year, he's durable, and will be a player in this league for a long time. If we trade him it must be for someone who will be here a while.

I'm only putting Mercer on the table for Swayman and MAYBE for Askarov. Everyone else is a no.

fitz isn't going to give up mercer for a goalie that isn't "top level" so people have to chill with that. i do believe some type of combo of the 3 i mentioned above is the pieces that would get a deal done.

We have four games this week starting with a b2b and ending with the outdoor game on Sat, plus Schmid has been a trash fire in Utica*, so this is very on brand for 23-24.
