It should be Daccord, as they haven’t fallen back into the trap of continuing to keep Grubauer happening since he came back from injury.
Wouldn’t be surprised if it’s him. He’s been back for a bit and hasn’t played since before he got injured. Last game was December 9th.
His contract is worse than Bob’s at this point. And I think it even ends a year after it? Yeah, it’s worse. Their sham playoff series win with him last year may delay his buyout another year. Or maybe they’re hopeful he can somehow be LTIR’d before it ends.
Daccord has been really strong. Hope we get Grubauer in net.

If we win the b2b with those two you should just be grateful because Schmid can’t stop a beach ball right now. I’m high on Daws for the future but the future isn’t this week.
If Vanecek vaguely has his shot together he’s likely the best we got, that’s our sad reality here.

Daccord? Yes.
Grubauer? He’s one of the steamiest pile of shit goalies of the last 3 seasons.
Blackwood’s last three seasons are better than Das Scheisse.
He shouldn’t even be in the NHL anymore, unless it’s as the backup for some team that can really shelter their backups and/or hardly plays them.

Schmid is weird though with being sent down. He did this last year too, was playing good up here, got sent down, was trash in Utica, came back up and was good again.
I think he sulks a bit. Bigger issue he hasn't been all that great in the NHL this year either.

Usually Vitek is shitting his pants during games, not before, so maybe this is a sign for a stretch run to the playoffs
