Tyler Toffoli?
Jake Allen is worth more than that offer alone.Red Wings trade Patrick Kane(50%) and G Alex Lyon.
Devils trade G Jake Allen and their 2026 1st round pick.
Kane is an O6 fanboy and will only play for an O6 team. Looks like his options are Boston and Toronto if he wants to play for a potential cup/playoff contender this year.Red Wings trade Patrick Kane(50%) and G Alex Lyon.

why do I read this websiteRed Wings trade Patrick Kane(50%) and G Alex Lyon.

Palms is more realistic. Isles would have to eat salary.Brock Nelson. Doubt Lou ever sells him
Although our pp is cold right now. Just sayin.Should have specified 5v5 player. NJD has no interest in a PP weapon who will not make our PP1
Also people vastly overrating the scale of the target we're talking about.Palms is more realistic. Isles would have to eat salary.

Which is also a problem. They don't have a true sniper who can shoot. Also people vastly overrating the scale of the target we're talking about.
The chances are still there. Just need to find a shooting groove again
Who are you moving off the PP for that tho. The logical piece would be Nico, but then your sniper winger also needs to win faceoffs.Which is also a problem. They don't have a true sniper who can shoot.
It's nearly 30% for the year which is pretty much top five year in and year out.Palms is more realistic. Isles would have to eat salary.

I'll let the coaching staff figure that one out.Who are you moving off the PP for that tho. The logical piece would be Nico, but then your sniper winger also needs to win faceoffs.
I agree. I was making a semi tongue in cheek comment about the power play. I'm not overly worried about the powerplay. It's nearly 30% for the year which is pretty much top five year in and year out.
I don't think they need to over react to a cold stretch especially with internal options
Guys to boost 5 on 5 scoring are more important
again, bread even tho his first calling card is the passingWhich is also a problem. They don't have a true sniper who can shoot.
I would love Panarin.again, bread even tho his first calling card is the passing
but half you guys don't want to go there
what can I say....
I would rather do nothing then anchor ourselves with that contract for a soft, 1 way playeragain, bread even tho his first calling card is the passing
but half you guys don't want to go there
what can I say....
For what it would cost to get him, and the fact that he's 33 makes him an easy pass.again, bread even tho his first calling card is the passing
but half you guys don't want to go there

I would love Panarin.
There is no team on the planet who would send two top-10 defensive prospects in the entire sport for a 33 year old with 2 years of term.
just to be clear, my offer had him close to 50% retainedI would rather do nothing then anchor ourselves with that contract for a soft, 1 way player
That doesn't matter. When have you ever seen 2 of top 10 d prospects not in the NHL traded (both of which top 10 draft picks), one of which a 2nd OA pick for a 33 year old winger with 2 years left? It's literally unheard of and any gm who makes that move would be fired before the paperwork even gets submitted. You wouldn't even be able to get one of these guys for Panarin never mind both of them. These type of prospects if traded would only be available for a unicorn type player.just to be clear, my offer had him close to 50% retained
cool, you can have 1 of Nemec/Saliyev, a pick, and a dart throw prospect.just to be clear, my offer had him close to 50% retained
