Word. It is a weird thing to go through a 6 game losing streak after a 13 game winning streak. We are an unproven team, we've made the playoffs once in 10+ years and we've been bottom dwellers including our very last season.

It is understandable to be skeptical of this team and notice its glaring holes on a 6 game losing streak. But apparently we, as posters, cannot post these things because we are "thriving" on the team losing. Whatever that means lol.

i just want us playing the way we did during the streak. back then we had better goaltending and guys could actually score a goal. i’m not seeing the same offense from our defense. plus nico has dried up, bratt is invisible except for when he’s missing breakaways. what the hell changed? other teams adjusting to us? palat/bastian? they need to figure out what is so different and make adjustments.

I used to do that when I play roller goalie, I wouldn't do it on ice on though because of being scared of other players blades on exposed skin lol.

I don't blame Lindy, but I also don't think he should have been brought back to begin with.

That said, while I certainly share your sentiment, as I was probably the first to start talking about the Ruff fire watch coming back on, I do think we're still a ways off from it.

Playoffs are absolutely a must for him to be re-signed. I think they were always a must for him to be here in 23-24, But I don't think the playoffs necessarily get him automatically extended either.

One thing I notice is that NJ doesn’t cheat enough. They don’t clutch and grab sticks enough they don’t chop guys in the low back after thr whistle they don’t spray snow at the goakie after thr play they don’t just put their heads down and run over the goalie. Other teams do this stuff and get minimally penalized because of game management. NJ needs more of it.
